Ernesto ( my husband of one year! july 2004) and I met in May 2001. I am a flight attendant and I met him at the hotel where he worked in Lima, Peru. After a very exciting first few months of dating the day to day of long distance love started to wear thin and we decided to get engaged and apply for the K-1. After 6 months of waiting and a protest in front of the TSC my husband was granted his K-1. He moved to Atlanta, GA to be with me shortly after.
We got married and the whole filing mess started again. But at least he was here now. We are happily married and awaiting AOS. Currently a 36 month wait in Atlanta if you are lucky!
2012 Update
Hubby is now applying for residency for his mom.
