    @IRFUN We resubmitted on 3/27/23 with an explanation. We looked at the first page of my husband police report and it has the date of issuance and also the date his passport was issued. I think that whoever reveiwed our case thought his passport issue date was when we got his police report. Hopefully everything goes through this time with my explanation and case inquiry.

    I doubled check and what we submitted is valid. We think that the person was confused with the other date listed on the form which is when his passport was issued.

    Today we received communication from NVC that they rejected my husband police certificate. I see that everything else was accepted, and it seems to be an error on NVC side. They rejected it saying that the police certificate was expired, and that is not the case. The police certificate clearly states it is valid for 3 months for submission and we submitted before the 3-month expiration. We have resubmitted with a written explanation, and hopefully they will get back to us quickly. Does anyone know how long it takes for a response after getting a RFI?

    Yes, we submitted the public inquiry on 3/6, and then they replied on 3/8 requesting more information. On 3/8, we sent them the requested information and no updates. I am going to send another inquiry to see what is going on.

    We requested a embassy transfer prior to submitting everything. NVC did ask me for my husband's local phone number in the new country. We provided what they asked for and have not heard anything as of yet. @IRFUN @snm2212

    Hello!! We submitted our NVC paperwork on March 11, 2023, and we are currently waiting for our transfer request to be approved. Can we please be added the to list?
