    Check your emails on CEAC to see if it is there. The petitioner and joint sponsor are required to prove current employment. This can be done by submitting paychecks or employment letter. You may want to inquire with NVC through public inquiry. Maybe someone else can chime in here for advice if you write your own post.

    Hi there! I am the petitioner and I submitted my current paystubs to show proof of income. I submitted my W2s, tax transcripts, and paystubs for the entire month. I see you have a joint sponsor and proof of income will need to be uploaded for them as well. My question is did you receive a email saying that you have been DQ? I’ve heard that when you upload more documents after DQ, but before you receive your interview letter it can change your DQ date. Please what country are you in?

    If you are still getting that message a document is missing or you did not click on submit on CEAC. I would recommend logging back into CEAC and double check everything and click submit. Once everything is uploaded and submitted you should receive a email confirmation. Hope this helps.

    Thanks!! No, it was for Sierra Leone and I have now made the correction to our timeline.

    My husband moved from the country he was originally in when we filed. Once we DQ we requested his case be moved to the country he is living now which doesn't have a big backlog like his home country.

    I guess they are automated emails, and ours was unexpected. We were DQ on April 12th, and we requsted a embassy transfer the same day. Our transfer was approved April 13th, and today the 24th we received our IL.

    We got our interview letter today!!

    We requested a embassy transfer yesterday when we DQ, and it was approved! The interview backlog in Nigeria is currently 12-14 months which is so long. Now our case have moved to Sierra Leone.

    We resubmitted on March 27, and I counted 16 days including weekends.

    We were just DQ after RFE!!!! NVC said his police certificate was expired, but it wasn’t. We resubmitted the same document, and we DQ today! My husband and I are together so this made our day.

    Yes, that is normal. I got a RFE and resubmitted, and it shows the previous date that was there before.
