My Fiance arrived with a K-1 visa, the VISA in on her passport. Is "Travel Document" number needed? I dont want to put both as question 20 asking about expiration will not know if im talking about the expiration of the passport or travel document, which are different Can I just put Fiance for 25a 26b and 27 ? It will not allow me to put K1 as numbers are not allowed to be entered

OK I see what happened, I didn't know that foreigners who entered the US were issued an I-94, when me and me fiancé arrived at the airport, the immigration people pulled us aside, took our k-1 visa packet that given by embassy after visa approval and I assumed were going to interview her. After waiting in the waiting area they simply said we could leave, no interview, so we left and thought we could get married next week and apply for AOS afterwards. Looks like the immigration people had issued us an electronic I-94 but didn't bother to tell us or explain that it would be needed in the future. I went to https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search entered by fiancés details and was able to print the I-94 so my next step is to apply for SSA, I will do that now

We are going to get married (file for marriage license), but before we do, do we have to apply for I-94(SSN) ? I read here that I-94 is no longer necessary? https://www.cbp.gov/travel/international-visitors/i-94 I am following the instruction at https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-eligibility/green-card-for-fiancee-of-us-citizen and it says: 1. arrive in USA 2. get married 3. apply for green card(AOS) by filing form I-485 it says nothing about I-94?

I am the petitioner, I will be at the interview with my Fiancé who is the beneficiary. After working for 4 years, I am planning to resign from my job to start another job a 2 weeks later. But before I start my new job I have to travel overseas to my fiance to be with her at the K-1 Visa embassy interview. I will be officially quitting 4 days before our interview and wanted to know if me not having a job at the time of the interview will be an issue if they ask about my employment. I don't plan on saying anything, I will bring my paystubs, 2021 Tax returns, and bank statements(just as a back up to show I have plenty of money saved).

I was planning to apply for advanced parole right after getting married and filling for the AOS, you are telling me I have to wait 8-9 months after filing for AOS to apply for advance parole? Thank you for telling me this I am in Salem Oregon, so I think the closest one to me is the Portland (POO) ?

Hi, My Fiance has her K-1 Visa interview next month. God willing she will get approved and she will come here in April. If we applied for the adjustment of status, how long will she have to wait to get the green card? Wanted to get an idea of the processing times because I have googled it and gotten numbers from 9 months to 27 months....

So I have finally booked the interview for our K-1. Only two things left: Medical exam(already booked an appointment) and Police Clearance Report. It says very clearly in the instructions from the consulate: "Step 2: Obtain your police clearance certificate from the regional passport office" So my fiancé went to the Regional Passport Office and they said to go passportindia.gov.in and file online. I go online and filled the application, paid the fee and booked the appointment. My Fiancé lives in Kolkata and the location for this interview appointment cannot be made at the Regional Passport Office(RPO) as stated in the instructions from the Mumbai Consulate. The RPO doesn't offer PCC service and you have to book the appointment at PSK - Kolkata. So I did that. I wanted to ask if this wold cause any issues at the K-1 interview, has anyone else went through this?

ok i figured it out, the first date is for the OFC appointment, which they have availability but the interview needs to be booked within 2 weeks of the OFC appointment which they do not have wish it would have told me instead of a blank page....

I am currently applying for tourist visas for a relative. I am about to pick the interview appointment date. In the entire process of applying it never said anywhere how long the Visas were valid for. Web searches say US tourist visas are Valid for 10 years with a 6 month maximum stay. Just wanted someone to confirm this and make sure is this the case for all B1/B2 visas from all countries and that there is no other technicality.

NVC forwarded our case to the embassy on Feb 14. I sent an inquiry to the embassy and yesterday they replied via email and said: "Your fiancé visa case is now ready for final processing" and they included steps(obtain police certificate, medical exam, DS-160, etc) Neither me nor my Fiance got a Welcome Letter, some people have said NVC sends the welcome letter while others say the welcome letter is sent by the embassy after they receive your case. The embassy's instructions do not mention anything about logging into CEAC using an invoice ID(which would be in the welcome letter), the instructions say goto https://in.usembassy.gov/ create a user account and pay your nonimmigrant K visa fee online Can anyone help me

Hi, I applied for tourist visas for 2 of my relatives here: https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx The location was Kolkata India and it was for B visa After submitting the applications and printing the confirmation pages it has not asked me to pay the fee. Is the fee paid at the interview or was I supposed to pay it before? Would appreciate any help.

yea got that exact email 4 days ago, i think now they will forward it to the embassy/consulate and once they receive it we will get the CEAC number not sure when we get the invoice number, maybe in the welcome letter? idk if you go to: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it still says "AT NVC" idk how long it's gonna take them to actually forward it to the embassy
