  1. My Fiance arrived with a K-1 visa, the VISA in on her passport. Is "Travel Document" number needed? I dont want to put both as question 20 asking about expiration will not know if im talking about the expiration of the passport or travel document, which are different Can I just put Fiance for 25a 26b and 27 ? It will not allow me to put K1 as numbers are not allowed to be entered
  2. I am the US citizen and my wife is the one applying for AOS My wife is principle applicant, do I have to put myself as the derivative applicant? Im supposed to put "no" ? Im genuinely not sure what to select here:
  3. OK I see what happened, I didn't know that foreigners who entered the US were issued an I-94, when me and me fiancé arrived at the airport, the immigration people pulled us aside, took our k-1 visa packet that given by embassy after visa approval and I assumed were going to interview her. After waiting in the waiting area they simply said we could leave, no interview, so we left and thought we could get married next week and apply for AOS afterwards. Looks like the immigration people had issued us an electronic I-94 but didn't bother to tell us or explain that it would be needed in the future. I went to https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search entered by fiancés details and was able to print the I-94 so my next step is to apply for SSA, I will do that now
  4. We are going to get married (file for marriage license), but before we do, do we have to apply for I-94(SSN) ? I read here that I-94 is no longer necessary? https://www.cbp.gov/travel/international-visitors/i-94 I am following the instruction at https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-eligibility/green-card-for-fiancee-of-us-citizen and it says: 1. arrive in USA 2. get married 3. apply for green card(AOS) by filing form I-485 it says nothing about I-94?
  5. I got an RFE because I missed a question asking about if I had a criminal history, since I'm sending it in I wanted to use this opportunity to also send in a letter from shaadi.com (matrimony website) that explains that website is not a IMB because I noticed a thread where someone got an RFE due to them meeting on a matrimony/dating site. They had to get a letter from the site explaining they are not a IMB (International Marriage Broker). On our application we put "No" to did you meet on a IMB, because it is not, but in the letter explaining how we met I did say we met on shaadi.com and I had a premium membership. The RFE did not mention anything about it so I am wondering if I should address it as well. I ask this because I found out it is common for them to send out more RFE's after receiving the previous RFE, so I wanted to kill two birds with on stone.
