  1. Does anyone know how to contact the sponsor ( Fulbright ) directly, when their views are requested ? Is there an email address or a phone number? thanks
  2. Yeah. If I were to speculate, I would say that they have some secondary review process for the cases that they can not approve or reject right away.
  3. Yeah… if one looks at this from the ordinary, non legal perspective, it would make sense that the amount of funding involved would dictate the bar for the approval, but if you look at this from the legal side, they can not employ such approach, since it would be in a direct contradiction with the whole idea of the Exceptional Hardship. Whether they approach this with legal mindset is another question that I dont think we can answer. However, I would refrain from making statements with such high confidence like above 🙂
  4. They are not done with even May 2022 cases. I know of one at least, also know of 1in June and 2 in July.
  5. Yup. There are, definitely, still bunch of pending cases from 2022. I at least know of 11 🙂
  6. Interesting. I was under the impression that the USCIS always inquires about the current status before forwarding the case to the DOS. 🤔 That being said, I also was under the impression that if the USCIS forwards the case then it was a done deal haha
  7. Great. Congrats!!! If you dont mind, why was you NOS denied? Was there a sponsor involved? Also what is that DOS case number document? This is the first time I see it.
  8. I know of a few cases that are still pending since April of 2022 and a few others with Sponsors that are pending since Jan 2022.
  9. Got you. Thanks. Well fingers crossed 🤞🏻 good luck to everyone.
  10. Thanks. I did see a couple of cases approved that had Sponsor Views, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the sponsor was Fulbright.
  11. Does anyone here know of any approved hardship waiver who was funded through Fulbright ?
  12. Hi @nmanc33 I am in an in exact same situation as you. Denied NOS and pending hardship. Lets keep each other posted on this. I am not sure if a new Sponsor View request will be sent out.
  13. Yeah. I feel like the Sponsor’s view process is 3 more months in addition to the 20 month wait time. I.e the ones with governmental funding will wait around 20 months and then their case will be sent to the sponsor, which will take another 3 months. 😔
  14. Thanks for sharing. The 1716960 does not seem to have a Spnsor's view items in the list, why do you think there was a sponsor involved ?
  15. Hmm how do you determine if a specific case had a governmental funding, if it does not show “Request for sponsor’s view”?
  16. I always thought it was the US governmental fundings (like Fulbright) that we refer to by “Governmental Funding”.
