  1. Hey all, if anyone is joining a March 2023 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY WhatsApp group, I created one and you can join using this link - https://chat.whatsapp.com/K4hyPhEWRkMILn0BVDyxKe I figured having a support group with more frequent updates and discussions might help some members. I'll still be posting in this thread, but only for major updates, to avoid clutter. Everything else (NVC inquiries, small updates, etc.) will be in the WhatsApp group chat.
  2. Hey there, For inquires - I sent them through the inquiry portal here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html For the research email, I emailed them here - NVCresearch@state.gov Hope this helps
  3. Update for today from NVC on my latest inquiry: NOA2 3/16/2023 I sent an e-mail to the research department again. But I think more than likely, I won't get an update until end of May at this point. It's so annoying. I share everyone else's frustration. We are all in this together
  4. That's so crazy! On the NOA2 I-797 form it says "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. The USCIS has completed all action; further inquiries should be directed to the NVC." Why wouldn't they have sent it out by name? So frustrating
  5. For website it said NOA2 was March 17, 2023. On the Notice, it said March 16, 2023. I think its normal they can be a few days apart
  6. Totally understand your frustration. My NOA2 was March 16th, its been almost 60 days for us and we've sent 4 inquires and we get the same responses you're getting. After 60 days, I'm going to keep inquiring every week until they give me an update. I'll keep everyone posted when we get NVC Received status.
  7. If it' been 60 days, try this: Email NVCResearch at : NVCResearch@state.gov In the body of the e-mail put down Beneficiary's Name Beneficiary's Date of Birth Petitioner's Name Petitioner's Date of Birth Write down your question. In this case, tell them it's been over 60 days and you want them to research where you petition is and/if they received it. Attach your NOA2 notice I've heard some people have success with this, but it's worth a shot while you're patiently waiting
  8. Yeah its about 52+ days on average right now. Crazy, we've waiting 15 months for NOA2 approval and now they sprinkle extra delays to get to NVC. It'll be worth the wait
  9. I sent my fourth inquiry yesterday and they sent me the same following response: My NOA2 was March 16, 2023. So based on this we have to wait at least 60 days before they can do anything (investigation, support, etc). I'll post a follow up in about 12 days (when it hits the 60 mark) or earlier if I hear anything form NVC receiving the petition or creating the case. I'll just keep patiently waiting
  10. Yikes, hopefully that's not the case. NVC told me they are getting most cases created within 60 days after USCIS approval. Hopefully more people in this thread will get case numbers within 2 weeks.
  11. I reached out yesterday as well and got a response saying they are still awaiting it. They advised me to wait up to 60 days and we should have it by then. I'm going to try another inquiry again in 10 days. NOA 3/17/2023
  12. Wonderful news! Hopefully our case number will come this week or next week!
  13. Everyone, looks like the trend for NVC to receive the petition and get a case in is about 48 days from approval (according to VJ Trends). Give it another 2 weeks or so and you should be good to go. I think most March approvals will be at NVC by the end of the month or early May. Good luck
  14. Give it another 2 weeks and hopefully it'll be at NVC
  15. I sent an inquiry on 3/20/23 (NOA2 3/17) and the NVC said the following: '"To Whom it Concerns: Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition. It can take up to six weeks for an approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to arrive at the National Visa Center (NVC). Once we receive it, we will enter your petition into the U.S. Department of State's database systems." So based on this response, they told me to wait until April 28th for NVC to create a case number.
  16. I think the processing time is 45 days right now (according to VJ statistics for NOA2 to NVC). It looks like both you and me (NOA2 3/17) still have another 2 weeks or so to wait. I'll post here as soon as I get my case number. But everyone should be patient and wait about 4-6 weeks from their NOA2 before they start to worry
  17. We are preparing all our documents for our interview in a few months time and wanted to see if anyone had Russian documents that needed an apostille? We have the original birth certificate and we got the Russian Police Clearance from the Gosuslugi system. We will get the Original Birth Certificate translated, the Police Clearance was already translated into English for us. I just need to know if the birth certificate needs to have an apostille? Thank you
  18. Hi everyone, We applied for a K1 visa and got NOA1 on 1/03/22. We put down the embassy location as Warsaw, Poland based on guidance for Russian applicants. With all the recent issues of Russians trying to enter Europe, we wanted to explore a different option. We both are residents of Turkey and we wanted to see if we can transfer our case to either the Istanbul or Ankara location. Our reasoning is that we are both residents and it would save us time and money (having to fly back to Russia, get a Schengen visa, go to a European country, and then go to Poland - where there is a lot of scrutiny to Russian passport holders.) My question is do I reach out the Turkish (Istanbul/Ankara) locations now or after NOA2 approval? I've heard conflicting information from many sources so I wanted to get someones input from here. Notes: I'm a US Citizen, my fiancee is Russian We both have been living together in Turkey since 2021 as Residents and we both hold valid resident permits We got NOA1 for our K1 visa application and listed Warsaw, Poland as our Embassy Location
