  1. If it's the same marriage, it means that the marriage/divorce certificate was already submitted during the green Card process with your form I-485. It's not mandatory under vawa provision in the N-400 process. It's written even in their instructions. But with the general provision: YES But if you want to resubmit it, up to you. Vawa provision has a special protection different from other provision
  2. If you are filling under an approved I-360(vawa) Marriage/divorce are not required. Your approved proof is not mandatory as well because they have all those informations already in their system and the copy of your green Card has your ground of eligibility on it as proof. Follow the USCIS N-400 checklist. Thanks
  3. Yeah πŸ‘ I'm overwhelmingly happy and grateful to God Almighty. The journey is fading slowly away behind me. Thanks so much @balo101 for all your overwhelmed encouragements. Will never take for granted.
  4. Thanks so much πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ Is it any more taking place in Irving?
  5. Congratulations πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ I was also approved today in Dallas field office as well. The questions was pretty simple and straightforward. I think that when you study and practice those 100 questions very well, there is nothing to be afraid of with this testing and writing part.
  6. Thanks so much. You have been so encouraging for me on this thread
  7. I filed the I-360 in April 2020 and got Approved if can recalled in May 2022. The green Card got approved in August 2022.
  8. Hi y'all! Just got recommend this morning for Approval during my citizenship interview. They didn't asked me any questions about my vawa. But it was straight forward and the officer was very nice and was making feeling confortable. My file was reviewed and the Civic questions and writing very simple for me. Thanks be to God Almighty for all are now behind me. Just wanting to be scheduled for the oath ceremony.
  9. Greetings to y'all. My citizenship interview was scheduled this morning in Dallas. I went there being a little bit anxious and nervous, But my God ahead of me as usual. Everything went well and I was recommended for APPROVAL. My field office does not do the same day oath ceremony. just got these updates on my online status and guess what? My progress timeline has changed from 16 months to 10 months until final decision Thanks y'all on this thread for your untimely support. May God blessed and favored you all in Jesus Christ name.
  10. Whaoo, And you nailed them All. Congratulations πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘
  11. As for me, I will go with the Congress person first. Interview is not mandatory to scheduled in 90 days. It's first depends upon the workload in any field office and also on the complexity of a case. Just be a little bit patient and wait for your representative queries feedback. In case you found it difficult, scheduled an info pass
  12. I sometimes even ask myself, why even stressing looking at those numbers? On my humble, it doesn't make any sense and mostly stressing you for nothing. One's just need to be patient, keeping himself busy and trusting God for a favorable END.
  13. Did they asked you to send the medical or to bring it during the interview? In my case, after sending the medical, it took less than 3 months. But all depends on the workload in your field office. It's a good sign as they had RFE you already for medical. Soon, everything will be over.
  14. Any application send with a fee waiver will not have any problem as far as you are qualified for that benefits. They will first adjudicated the fee waiver and if it's not approved, 1-They will ask you to pay the appropriate fee on the best scenario or 2- will send back your application in the worst scenario for you to resend with the appropriate fee So nothing to be afraid of as far as you send all the files concurrently. But you have to list all the forms attached to your waiver form. Nothing to be afraid of. It's the process and USCIS goes by it.
  15. @TBoneTX should step in on this. As for me, I didn't pay anything. But it's long ago and I don't know If things have changed. I don't know If you have to send it along with a fee waiver or not. But I know that one experienced member on this thread will give you the exact steps to follow.
  16. Yeah I think so. You should filed it concurrently.
  17. Everything is now clear to me. If you have a legit reason, you can go for an expedite passport process. For instance if you are traveling internationally in less than 6 weeks. Thanks πŸ‘
  18. What is the buy and cancel method?
  19. Congratulations πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ My advice had always been not to withdraw the case. It's really depends on officers. It's only those who are inclined of denying cases that will create problems with those early filings. One thing sure is that they will never call you for interview until you have clocked the number of years required.
  20. Big congratulations πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸ‘ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰
  21. Interview in less than two weeks.
  22. You are right πŸ‘ The person should be perfectly fine as long as the person brings along with him or her the evidence of the DUI payment and charge's dropped. The best thing in this is the fact that, after your vawa has been approved, the form l-485 interviews is mostly focused on the ADMISSIBILITY grounds and the YES and NO questions.
  23. My interview is in less than two weeks. Guess what!? πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ My progress 17 months until final decision .
  24. Congratulations for your approval. Is an emergency passport different from the normal passport booklet? Can they travel to Europe with a passport card form? Thanks
  25. I sincerely hope not. I don't want to go through that trauma again. I have fought so hard to forget that past and anything that reminds me of it.
