N-400 January 2025 Filers
Rhema1 replied to Carlos&Gen's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
Congratulations π π π π. In most states and in many cases, it's usually between two to six weeks. In my case, the officer told me after the interview that I was gonna received my oath scheduled notice in three weeks. But sometimes, it can be more quicker depending on the field office workload oaths ceremonies. I'm in Dallas Texas. -
Citizenship question
Rhema1 replied to JD2's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
Yeah π It's just to list them "if" you have worked within those three or five years. If you haven't worked; nothing to worry about. I have witnessed peoples having citizenship without any jobs history. -
Yeah. I'm very grateful too. May God continues to use this forum to help the helpless. May He bless All those who are following this forum to go along with the complexity of their immigrations cases by gratifying them with great APPROVALS.

Citizenship question
Rhema1 replied to JD2's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
My humble advice is this: Do not send another application when the previous one is still pending. Meaning, has not formally been removed. It may result to a double application pending. Although the 3 years living together is a requirement, the outcome or the interpretation of it depends on the appreciation of the officer working on that case. That's what I have noticed in this whole process. Thanks π -
Citizenship question
Rhema1 replied to JD2's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
My guess is individual officers. Some are more inclined approving cases and others not. I did the same 90 days early filing without clocking the marital union criteria. I proceeded with the case because I knew that before I'm called for interview, the three years marital union will be okay. Everything went very well for me and the officer did not even bother about it that during my N-400 interview and recommended me for approval. You should have not withdrawn it from the beginning and allowed the process continue. So, it all depends on the officer interviewing you. Even if you are π― % correct and an officer decides to give you hard time, he can finally denied your case on another ground. Remember that they have discretional power on any case they are working on. If you send a new application, when the current one is still pending in the USCIS system, it might show under your Alien number a double application that may result to a complete denial of the case. -

I get you. But have you read those who are filling under vawa provision specifically? We are Not talking about general or married to a US citizen provision. Kindly take a look on that and let me know. May be I'm the one not understand it very well. -

If it's the same marriage, it means that the marriage/divorce certificate was already submitted during the green Card process with your form I-485. It's not mandatory under vawa provision in the N-400 process. It's written even in their instructions. But with the general provision: YES But if you want to resubmit it, up to you. Vawa provision has a special protection different from other provision -

If you are filling under an approved I-360(vawa) Marriage/divorce are not required. Your approved proof is not mandatory as well because they have all those informations already in their system and the copy of your green Card has your ground of eligibility on it as proof. Follow the USCIS N-400 checklist. Thanks -

Congratulations π π π I was also approved today in Dallas field office as well. The questions was pretty simple and straightforward. I think that when you study and practice those 100 questions very well, there is nothing to be afraid of with this testing and writing part. -

As for me, I will go with the Congress person first. Interview is not mandatory to scheduled in 90 days. It's first depends upon the workload in any field office and also on the complexity of a case. Just be a little bit patient and wait for your representative queries feedback. In case you found it difficult, scheduled an info pass -

I sometimes even ask myself, why even stressing looking at those numbers? On my humble, it doesn't make any sense and mostly stressing you for nothing. One's just need to be patient, keeping himself busy and trusting God for a favorable END. -

Did they asked you to send the medical or to bring it during the interview? In my case, after sending the medical, it took less than 3 months. But all depends on the workload in your field office. It's a good sign as they had RFE you already for medical. Soon, everything will be over. -

Any application send with a fee waiver will not have any problem as far as you are qualified for that benefits. They will first adjudicated the fee waiver and if it's not approved, 1-They will ask you to pay the appropriate fee on the best scenario or 2- will send back your application in the worst scenario for you to resend with the appropriate fee So nothing to be afraid of as far as you send all the files concurrently. But you have to list all the forms attached to your waiver form. Nothing to be afraid of. It's the process and USCIS goes by it. -

@TBoneTX should step in on this. As for me, I didn't pay anything. But it's long ago and I don't know If things have changed. I don't know If you have to send it along with a fee waiver or not. But I know that one experienced member on this thread will give you the exact steps to follow. -

Everything is now clear to me. If you have a legit reason, you can go for an expedite passport process. For instance if you are traveling internationally in less than 6 weeks. Thanks π
