  1. Everyone at the office was confused with the split scheduling of I-751 and N-400. I showed up at 7am when the I-751 interview was scheduled as per the notice (but the notice did not have my A-Number or my case number), and everyone was super kind in trying to accommodate me. In the end the officer hurriedly prep’d for a combo interview at 7:30. He waived my I-751 (his words were “I see your kid is napping on you, don’t need more proof, just get their birth certificate with you”). By 9:15 we were out of the building with my certificate of naturalization.
  2. Congratulations! Hopefully the long wait will be something you folks will chuckle about in times to come. Given the gap in time between when the I-751 was filed and when the interview happened, how many supporting documents of the intervening time did you take? Past 6 months? A year? The entire time window?
  3. Thanks for the advice @OldUser and @TastyCake. I intend to go for the early morning (it's at 7am) I-751 interview that is not mine. Now someone has to tell my 6 month old that the world is just weird at times.
  4. So I received the interview notice for my I-751. It's on the same day as my N-400, but at a different time of the day (morning for the I-751 and afternoon for N-400). On closer inspection, while the notice is addressed to me (proper name and address), the A-number and the Receipt Number don't belong to me! Even the contact center agent was flummoxed. Their recommendation to me was "show up for your N-400 interview where they usually combine the I-751 interview, and give them the notice that has the different Receipt Number", which scares me a little (as the stated I-751 interview is earlier in the day). Has anyone heard something happen like this before? In the mean time, if anyone here has a case ending in 266 let me know, I might have your interview notice 😂
  5. I am assuming it is simply what the schedule slots one into; either it is Moakley or Faneuil Hall.
  6. Is there a set schedule for days that have the oath ceremony? Edit: Never mind, found this https://www.mad.uscourts.gov/general/immigration.htm
  7. Great news and very happy for you. Did your I-751 also move to interview being scheduled? Good luck with the interview
  8. How were you able to speak to a person when calling the toll free number? I never get out of the loop with the automated voice response!
  9. uneventful. the embassy staff (french and spanish, in my case) had knowledge about the extension letter and what to do with it.
