    I just saw step 19 of the K1 process that suggests changing your name after getting married. I thought it interesting as I didn’t think name changing was an automatic thing people did these days? Just thinking of all the hassle involved in that process… Change name on SSN Go back to the SSA office and bring your SSN Card and marriage certificate. Change your name.

    I’m glad you took the initiative and solved your problem yourself OP. My sympathies with the USPS issues, I often have to deliver my neighbor’s mail too. I’m sorry you didn’t get the support here you needed. Not sure why some people here are being so surly in their responses. High five for getting stuff done yourself 🙏🏼💪🏼

    What do you think the shipping company is going to do if the other person is keeping the passport? Can someone go to the address and get it?
