  1. How can both not be true? If she was brought to the US in the 80s age 3 weeks old?
  2. That sounds like relationships 101. Don’t rush into things, get to know each other, experience challenges so you can learn how you both react, spend time together etc etc. All the things that rushed K1 and other immigration visas don’t give you much chance to do.
  3. Nope nothing to worry about, this is the new normal for everyone
  4. I would definitely recommend stopping driving without a valid license…
  5. I don’t understand your confusion, they asked for more financial info, just give them the info! And make some transactions on the shared account!
  6. This is not helpful, don’t be like this at the interview, stick to the facts
  7. If you’re not engaged then I get why the application was refused since you have to be engaged, it’s a fiance visa
  8. There is no restriction on travel between the states in the US, that’s an absurd idea
  9. how low this country has fallen
  10. I didn’t have any context or write anything on my pics, just a bunch of pics of us together over time
  11. Yeah this might cause trouble if you search the forums, it comes up every time someone mentions unofficial ceremonies
  12. No your wife doesn’t need to know the nitty gritty (names, dates etc), it’s not an inquisition! Not every couple shines a spotlight on their previous marriages and it’s unreasonable to expect them to imho.
  13. Sorry you’ve been taken for a ride
  14. You’re a couple of foreigners coming on a vacation, you’ll be fine
  15. If you want to get turned down in your application then by all means include the bare minimum. If you’re serious about the process then include whatever you think would convince someone you’re serious.
  16. Uh no, you’re not the US government so no you can’t cancel her green card
  17. I definitely would not include game pics as evidence of being in a relationship
  18. There are other resources where you can find outlet, look up internations.org for a local branch near you. Also just do some reading about the process and things to think about as a new emigrant.
