    Can someone answer this question ELI5 😂. My wife came in on a K1, she has a two year conditional green card. We are about to file for removal of conditions. Our 2nd anniversary was in early July. She is returning from Europe on Wed. Is this post saying she could ask to be granted a 10 year green card without us having to through the whole removal of conditions rigamarole? thanks!

    My wife is polish, we needed no “not married” doc when getting married in Pennsylvania

    I don’t think this is a good excuse not to file taxes or file for an extension. Taxes can be filed late with a penalty, but not filing them at all is asking for trouble

    If you do that I’m pretty sure the offer would be rescinded

    I’m pretty sure you can refile your taxes back 3 years so when you get the SSN, you will hopefully get the tax credits applied

    Yeah I would not have booked a 2.5hr gap, I’d have gone for 4 at least. You got lucky!

    How long have you guys been together? How much money have you spent on this process so far? Just sounds fishy to me looking from the outside in and she’s having all these problems requiring more money. You can post questions against the embassy here to see if others are having similar issues.

    It’s not like she was there of her own volition, there’s an obvious difference between this and going somewhere voluntarily.
