  1. Super good news on our end. 2. In our case we got our combo approved last week. The letter came in the mail today about the approval. There was also a second letter today with our social security card. Though we never asked for one before. That number is unique to a person for life. So you should not be getting any second social security card with a completely different number.
  3. New update: 11/14/2023 - Sent to USCIS (I-485 + I-765 and I-131 concurrent filing) 11/15/2023 - NOA1 11/25/2023 - Biometrics notice went out 12/11/2023 - Biometrics appointment 12/11/2023 - AOS and EAD cases changed to "actively reviewed" 01/05/2024 - RFE I-485 (Public Charge inadmissibility questions) 01/06/2024 - Response To USCIS Request For Evidence Was Received 01/09/2024 - EAD-AP combo card approval
  4. Sent my RFE response using the online option: 11/14/2023 - Sent to USCIS (I-485 + I-765 and I-131 concurrent filing) 11/15/2023 - NOA1 11/25/2023 - Biometrics notice went out 12/11/2023 - Biometrics appointment 12/11/2023 - AOS and EAD cases changed to "actively reviewed" 01/05/2024 - RFE I-485 (Public Charge inadmissibility questions) 01/06/2024 - Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received
  5. Hi All. I have an update on my I-485. Looks like they must have started working on it. Over two weeks ago I proactively uploaded new documents and a cover letter changing my answers for this section (Public Charge inadmissibility questions). Unfortunately they still RFE'd me instead of using it today. I will respond with an online upload now. 11/14/2023 - Sent to USCIS (I-485 + I-765 and I-131 concurrent filing) 11/15/2023 - NOA1 11/25/2023 - Biometrics notice went out 12/11/2023 - Biometrics appointment 12/11/2023 - AOS and EAD cases changed to "actively reviewed" 01/05/2024 - RFE I-485 (Public Charge inadmissibility questions)
  6. Is the RFE related to answering Part 8, questions 61-68?
  7. Here our timeline to date: 11/14/2023 - Sent to USCIS (I-485 + I-765 and I-131 concurrent filing) 11/15/2023 - NOA1 11/25/2023 - Biometrics notice went out 12/11/2023 - Biometrics appointment 12/11/2023 - AOS and EAD cases changed to "actively reviewed"
  8. No. All I received was a welcome letter (email). Then I followed the instructions on the Mumbai embassy website for K1 visa. Booked my biometric and interview appointments. I then used the confirmation email of those appointments and the welcome letter email to book medical at the Delhi hospital that they listed. I received nothing else from the embassy. You should just go to the hospital and try and book it there. The person on the phone appears to be confused by the different visa types and requirements.
  9. I'm not sure why that is happening. We scheduled with the hospital listed in Delhi. All they needed was a welcome letter and appointment confirmation.
  10. My fiancee just finished her interview at the Mumbai embassy. You have to show the Appointment letter confirmation for medical. Not the welcome letter. When you booked the biometrics and interview, it gave you a confirmation email. That email shows the dates for both, a barcode of your DS-160, and instructions of what to bring to both appointments. This is what my fiancee showed at the medical appointment.
  11. Same for me. My DS-160 confirmation page states on it that Passport photo will be taken at the ASC. Which I'm pretty sure is the biometrics appointment.
  12. Yes. It's still at NVC waiting to ship when I check the status. That's been the status since July 1 when we got our case number. We are hoping it finally ships tomorrow or Wednesday during that shipping window. Or else we lose another 2 weeks.
  13. My fiancee and I are at 111 days since NOA2. We received our case number and invoice ID number on July 1st via an inquiry. Somehow we missed that shipping window on July 3/5. We are hoping so bad we don't miss another shipping window for the 18/19 of this month. No idea why it's taking so long. Our case continues to show "At NVC" since July 1st. I really don't want to have to wait another 2 weeks if it doesn't ship this week.
  14. Another week went by yet the timeline page shows nothing moved. I've been sitting on a case number for almost two weeks with no change "At NVC". Not sure what is going on at the NVC. Three weeks ago: As of 20-Jun-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-Jun-23 Two weeks ago: As of 26-Jun-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-Jun-23 Last Week: As of 3-Jul-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 8-Jun-23 Today: As of 10-Jul-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 8-Jun-23
  15. It looks like that sudden increase in UCSIC sending approvals to NVC is causing a delay at NVC now. In the last 3 weeks their NVC case file creation timeline only moved 3 days forward. Two weeks ago: As of 20-Jun-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-Jun-23 Last Week: As of 26-Jun-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-Jun-23 Today: As of 3-Jul-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 8-Jun-23
