  1. I had my interview few days ago at the US embassy in Tokyo. Since I have not gotten my covid vaccination in the 12 months prior to the date of medical exam, they told me to provide the evidence of the vaccination after I receive my dose. They gave me the web page url (https://jp.usembassy.gov/visas/) and told me to send online but I have no idea where to send my vaccination evidence. Do any of you have similar experience?
  2. @pushbrk I apologize for the late reply. Yes, it is the document that I have already uploaded. I think I will apply for a new one just in case. I rescheduled my interview and was able to extend for additional 3 weeks so that helped. Thank you for your help! I truly appreciate.
  3. Hello. I am a Japanese national living in Ishikawa prefecture. I have my interview at the embassy on January 22. My police certificate got lost due to the earthquake that happened several days ago. I tried contacting the embassy, but they seem to not know what to do.... I was wondering if there are any alternative I can take?
  4. @pushbrk @Dashinka We updated our case from F2A to IR1 after he obtained his naturalization. I took the photo of the certificate as a proof so that is good! Also, can I use naturalization certificate as proof of name change? Thank you so much in advance!
  5. I have my visa interview scheduled on January 22, 2024. They required me to bring my husband's certificate of naturalization, but he does not have it with him at the moment since he applied for his passport few days ago. I do not think we can obtain his certificate before the interview date. I was wondering if there are any alternatives I can take.
  6. @Chancy Great idea! Thank you so much for your help! I will do that asap.
  7. @Chancy Yes. "Bomjoikyungryeokjeungmyungseo" issued by the Korean National Police Agency. I sent an email to NVC several times, but they just told me to check the official NVC website.
  8. Hi. I am a Japanese national who used to live in Korea for several years. I applied for the criminal records certificate at the Korea embassy in Japan, however, the document got rejected. NVC told me to obtain a new certificate from the correct issuing authority. I have checked the official NVC website but did not know what was wrong with it.
  9. @Crazy Cat Awesome! Thank you very much. I truly appreciate for your support!
  10. @Crazy Cat Do you know how I can inform the NVC once he obtains his citizenship? He has also joined the US military after we filed our I130 so I am assuming we should also let them know about that?
  11. @Crazy Cat Thank you for your response! There are no derivatives. I am the only intending immigrant.
  12. Hello. I am currently filing my NVC documents. My husband has his citizenship oath ceremony coming up. I was wondering how I should let the NVC know of his new citizenship status after he obtains one? Thank you in advance.
  13. @cecellia No i still cant log in....... I'm trying every day....
  14. @Chancy yes I received the notice of immigrant visa case creation by email.
  15. Hi I received welcome letter from NVC 4 days ago and tried logging into the account but fails every time. "the selected case number and invoice identification number combination you entered does not match our records." shows up every time I try to enter. Has anyone have had similar issue and if so, how did you get it solved?
