Yes! Tracking number will usually come the day after issuance. If you're in Montreal you can pick up your passport the following day. You'll receive a notice from Canada Post. Congratulations!
You got me all excited. Day two and still no tracking. I really shouldn't be surprised at this point 😂.

Amazing so happy for you! May I ask if you contacted your state rep?
I did! I contacted a couple different people on Friday. Not sure if that was the reason or not, but it doesn't hurt to try if you haven't yet.

Our case was updated to "issued" this morning! Was anyone given tracking information? I am reading that we get an email when it has arrived but nothing about a tracking number.

Hi! I was issued today with Final Processing at the end of the day. I pick up my passport early next week. I contacted my State Rep on Tuesday (Jan 4) and received my issued notice today, Friday. I don't think it hurts to contact your state rep after a month if your CO gave you a different time frame. You could explain it in your letter to them. Best of luck everyone and hoping everyone clears for their visas soon!
Amazing! Congratulations!
I'll be contacting ours first thing Monday morning. All the best!

Has anyone had an update these last two weeks? Are they even open right now?

Received email this morning that our medical has been received and is now under review. Getting there! 4 week mark.

Current applicants, please keep up all updated to see if 4-8 weeks is still realistic...
We hit 3 weeks on Friday... will keep updated!

Yeah I know the feeling. My CO said it would take 2-3weeks since everything else looked fine and no further documents were needed/requested. I'm still relieved to hear that they've received it and it's being forwarded to visa unit "somewhere"... Keep me posted.
We were also told 2-3 weeks. Very frustrated by the email we received. We confirmed with the doctors office that everything had been sent on the 19th so we don't understand why the Consulate claims they haven't received it yet. Glad to hear others are getting somewhere; hopefully we won't have to wait another 2 weeks before they look at our case again.

**UPDATE 12/6
We heard back from the embassy today and were once again refused. SO frustrating. They said that they had not yet received our medical forms.... So the forms have once again been submitted and we wait yet again. What an incredibly frustrating day. Hope others have received better news today! -

Hey! I had my interview on November 8th and was issued a 221g form due to medical not being received on time. Medical was sent on November 9th. I've heard nothing. My case was updated on November 24th and again on November 26th but is still in administrative processing.
Ok, that is good to know. My husband was not given a 221g. Did they give you a timeline at all?

Hi all,
Do we have a timeline for the processing wait time? My husband had everything approved at his interview on the 10th, medical on the 16th and I can see on our Visa Status Check that our case was updated on the 23rd (I assume that means that it was received). Has anyone been in the same position and can give me an expected wait time? Can we expect 5-7 business days for this as well?

The only information I have received is that I will be told once it is ready for pickup and never any information regarding tracking. Who knows! I'm hoping that's the case!
All the best with your move!
