We were in love at first site! I have made several trips to meet with Carina in Bogota and Medellin. We have shared many stories of our respective countries and I send her post-cards of anything unique and interesting from my city or state or country. It gives her something to look forward to and allows me to share some of her future surroundings. We were naive enough in the beginning to attempt to get a visitor visa for her to visit the USA! What a trip, I went with her to the embassy in Bogota and everything. At the embassy, they would not allow me to enter for my own security!! That one still blows my mind. We spend all of our spare time in front of the webcam. We even sleep with the webcam on so we can be near each other!!!
