Okay amazing thank you for the response! It's pretty new so I couldn't find out much about it online. Just booked an appointment for a booster now. Also with the hepatitis b do you know if we will need to get all 3 doses? I read online just the 1st dosage will do for AOS as it will be marked off on the medical checklist already and lasts a year? But not sure if that's correct. And aw amazing congratulations! When they issued your visa is that when you get your passport back too? I'm a little stressed as we booked a trip away for two weeks after

Hi has anyone experienced the London medical recently? I thought I was ok with the COVID vaccination as I am fully vaccinated with 3 shots but that was in 2022. I read on here someone said that you need a booster within the last 12 months? Or is that only if not fully vaccinated. Any knowledge or if someone has been through it recently can say of there experience would be really appreciated!

Hi, hoping you see this as some time has passed. I have my medical interview next week, I thought as I was fully vaccinated against COVID I would not need to worry about it. However I was last vaccinated in 2022. Does this mean I will need a booster? I'm worried with anything getting delayed as I have my interview two weeks after and then we have a trip booked two weeks after that so I'm already stressed about getting passport back in time. Any advice would be appreciated, not sure if I should rush and get a booster before my medical takes place

Hi, I am confused with whether I will need the hepatitis b vaccine? The email the medical center sent says to check vaccines needed on there email..but the link doesn't work so that's helpful. I've read some things saying it's only for under 18s then I've also read it's a 3 dose series. Was just planning on getting it there next week but then I read the next one needs to be done within 30 days else it starts over. I have a trip planned and won't be in the country after the first dose of that's the case 😣 and then I have to get the 2nd and 3rd doses in America as well? It's all such a headache 😣 has anyone got any knowledge on this? Thank you

Hey sorry a little late to reply to this, but I just visited my fiancee between the ds-160 and the interview. Security only asked me two questions and they were where did we meet and what was my job. It had been 6 months since the last visit though and and it was just a two week visit for her birthday. Hope you get it sorted. I was really anxious about it too thinking I'd be getting asked a lot of questions. I guess it can depend on the border control officer though.

Hi, London Embassy received our petition in January, I had an interview booked for June however think I am going to have to reschedule for July now due to a trip. Feel like we've held off for a while and worried about timeframes and leaving it too late. How long am I able to schedule an interview for? I know I have to bring a letter saying we are still legally allowed to marry and intend to. I am just worried about scheduling the interview too late and messing up everything after coming this far. Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated

Hi Andi thank you for responding too, I should have mentioned in original post we have a trip to Africa planned end of June so I'm worried if it does wait for missing documents I will not get my passport back soon enough to go. I feel like it would be safer to maybe reschedule it but my fiance doesn't want to. So now I'm just going to hope the 9 days is enough and it'll be okay 😬

OMG that is such a a relief to hear, thank you for that information! So even if I turned up to the interview and they haven't received the medical results they would not deny my visa they would just wait until they are received? The person on the phone sounded adamant that I wait but I guess they can't tell people to go ahead and that it'll be alright. Thank you!!

Hi, I've gotten myself into a bit of a situation which is stressing me out. I picked a K1 interview date whilst away for the London embassy. However could not phone to organize a medical. I phoned them now and they said that I need 10 working days between my medical and my interview and I'm 1 day out. Medical is booked for the 29th and interview is booked for the 11th but needs to be 12th. However there are no other dates past the 11th showing for June yet. I have already rescheduled twice is what I am stressed about now if I try to reschedule it again will this be okay? I rescheduled twice because of a trip I went on and needed a passport then I changed again thinking the gap was long enough between 29th-11th June Also is there any email I can use to contact the embassy to which they would reply as the medical said to speak to them. Maybe they 9 days could be okay but I do not know how to contact them and ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I paid to schedule my interview back along but I have been waiting for a date to become available for June. At first I seen the dates moving along so thought June would show soon, but now only dates in April are showing again. Have I made a mistake, will June eventually show or was there only set dates available to me when I paid for the interview. I am going to keep checking and will hope June dates soon appear. Any knowledge about this would be appreciated, thank you

Medical exam, depression
Joseph Underwood replied to Joseph Underwood's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Hey Retro, no still haven't yet. My interview is ready to book but we are waiting because we have a trip planned first now. I wouldn't stress too much about it, the more I read the better I felt, feel like as long as they do not feel you are a risk to yourself or others now or shouldn't be an issue -
Hi, you were a massive help thank you so much for all the information. I've got most of my documents sorted and have submitted ds-160 I have literally just been waiting for this letter to schedule my interview 😭 I have filled out that contact form but I received a generic response which looked like a copy and paste job both times 😔 however I have no added in a bit more like you stated and said that our case has been ready since February 16th and I still have received nothing from the embassy and I started off the message with that and also said that I've read in lieu of the letter I can receive am email. So hopefully this time when it's seen they won't just bat me off straight away. Such a pain.

Patient care summary, all ongoing
Joseph Underwood replied to Joseph Underwood's topic in United Kingdom
Hey thanks for the reply, yeah I asked my GP and they printed it off for me. And then I've been doctors once for mental health about 14 months ago so I asked them to print off that consultation too and have a letter as well just so hopefully should be all ok. I found it odd that everything says ongoing but after researching it a bit I can see that's quite normal and that it's happened to others, so I guess they are used to it -
Patient care summary, all ongoing
Joseph Underwood replied to Joseph Underwood's topic in United Kingdom
Okay thank you! I'm going to go in and ask if they can change them to resolved for me. Had to pay for a letter at my gp to say my mental health is okay so now I don't want to have to pay for another thing like that when I feel it's their error 🙃 -
Okay thanks for replying, I've read so many contradicting things online with some saying they were never asked for the letter when they went to the interview and others saying that you need to show the letter at interview.

Hi, I have got my patient care summary for my medical. All of the things written on there say ongoing, there is even something from when I was born and they turned out to be wrong about it that says ongoing. Is this normal or will this be an issue? Do I need to ask my GP to put all these ongoing issues as resolved? If anyone has experience with this and the medical exam it would be a huge help!

It has been about a month now since NVC sent us an email with a case number and online it says case ready. I have just submitted ds-160 form and I have the confirmation page and all my documents ready, however I still have not yet scheduled the interview because I have not received anything in the post still. Has anyone experienced this? Do I need to wait for this letter? I am reading so many posts about waiting for the letter to come and then so many others saying it is not needed and to go ahead and book the interview anyway as some people never even receive the letter or they can take months to come. Has anyone been to the London embassy k1 interview without having received a letter? I don't know what to do just seems like such a waste of time waiting for this letter to show up, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey any advice would be appreciated! I am planning on booking my K1 interview in London, however the date will be after the 4 months expiration date. I read on the website if it goes past the 4 months expiration date all I need to do is bring in a newly signed letter of intent with me and it's okay to do this? Had anyone done this? Thank you
-
Hey, planning on booking my interview for just after the expired date on the i-797. Has anyone had experience with this for the k1 interview in London? On the London embassy website it says if I schedule my interview after the expired date (after the 4 months) all I need to do is a newly signed letter of intent with me to the interview? Any advice or experience with this would be appreciated, I read London embassy automatically renews the visas and are pretty relaxed about it all, but it still makes me feel uneasy booking the interview after that expired date.

Hey, as the title says. I have a flight booked to visit my partner for April as it is her 30th birthday and I want to be there for it. However we are in the NVC stage and when I visit my interview will probably be booked already, planning to hopefully have it done end of May or June. Any advice would be appreciated, is it ok to still visit at this stage?
