  1. You upload this with your CEAC/NVC login. Otherwise, USEM may send you out (if still early) and you will have to do the same.. scan and upload. So might as well, refresh your expiring docs. i suggest that you upload/submit at least a week before your interview day. USEM checks these documents days before your interview (you will sometimes see in tracker that the date is changing before even interviewed).
  2. 1.) No, you do not need to get vaccines elsewhere. SLEC will administer appropriate vaccine for your age meaning... if required Vaccine A is for 10-16 years old, and you are 40, vaccine A will not be administered to you. Vaccines are included in the fixed fee of SLEC. 2.) That is correct. SLEC medical is valid for 6 months. If you have no issue on your medical day (Day 1), you get vaccines next working day (Day 2)... then it is valid for 6 months. Now if on your Day 1, you are sent for sputum TB test, the culture result takes 2 months. Your schedule for sputum may be a week or 2 from your Day 1 medical. All in all consuming about 3 months of of the validity (from Day 1). Now if positive for TB, then it will be longer. Hope this helps!
  3. Also, seems you are referring to the I-9 verification documents. You can just show your driver's license + unrestricted SS Card for verification of employment:
  4. Within 90 days of arrival. Husband's got printed on 89th day. If no case change after 90 days of arrival, you can send inquiry at USCIS site. (I was ready to send inquiry on 91st day )
  5. Make sure your PDF are unsecured. Re-print your PDF or save as new PDF. Watch the size as well. Also, open it via Adobe Reader - other PDF readers have issues with reading immigration forms and vice versa. Hope this helps!
  6. Hmm.. my previous group, none of our beneficiaries for IR1 / IR2 have yellow packets. It is all electronic, you will see something like "IV Docs in CCD" on visa page.
  7. The shipping plastic/envelope you have to open to get your passport. Scan your bio page and visa page to upload to CFO. Seems you are K1 and has yellow packet - that you do not open. Also, CFO regular process time is M-Th 7-4pm. Some agents do work as they please (like the one we had, she has been communicating via message on a saturday/sunday). If your docs are complete, you should be able to get your CFO certificate next week. Blessings and happy travel to you.
  8. Are you USC? I am USC, divorced from the father of my daughter (no communication even), been traveling back/forth (me and daughter) since she was a baby - and never was I asked info from the father. And do have different last name from my daughter. I am a former Filipino, so I claim Balikbayan privileges at immigration to be given 1 year rather than 30 days. But if I do get 30 days, extension can be applied for through Bureau of Immigration, i believe.
  9. I agree with above. Do not cancel interview as your mom will need to be interviewed. She can be processed before your dad. Sputum is a long wait, so your mom may need to process/travel before your dad. SLEC would have notified USEM the case for your dad, so no worries there. Once your dad is medically cleared, you can then setup his appointment through CGI.
  10. Yes, you can travel. Just carry along your passport with the I-551 endorsement stamp. That is your temporary green card valid for a year. You probably will not have you state driver's license yet nor your SS card (unless you already had them before), so your official government ID is your passport upon entry.
  11. What is needed to support the visa annotation is your entry CR-1 stamp (the endorsement). Passport, visa with entry endorsement - for employment, DL, etc.
  12. Depends on the county of residence for their health protocols. Here in Fort Bend County, Texas - my husband has to undergo the sputum tests again, but no biggie, first spit was collected at the health check-up then it was self- collect for the next 2 and you drop it back off to the County health. He was also sent for X-ray. No costs, the county shoulders them. Life goes on.. nothing to worry, if they do not see any medical issues with you, they will not call you back. A friend from another state, she was only sent for X-ray. Some others from another state, were not even called at all.
  13. I suggest to request 1 copy and have it delivered in Philippines (provide auth letter) to confirm it exists/pulled from archive. Why is this? I requested 2 items, ROM (2022) and ROB (2002) - both was confirmed with PSA. The ROM - they were not able to pull from archive (within 2 weeks) so, my request returned that it is not yet available (waste of 5 copies). On another request, I requested ROB done 20 years ago - got a reply that since it was US, they have to pull it from archive.. i waited 2 weeks and got a POSITIVE response. After few weeks i requested 1 copy of ROM and finally got a POSITIVE response. Once I got those, I placed a request for the additional copies. Cost of document is expensive when for international (even though the printing is the same).. plus you handle shipping via Fedex, which is about $100. So I suggest if you need it here in US, request it and have it mailed to someone in Philippines and once all doc received, have it fedex/dhl/ups/etc to you. Hope this helps!
  14. my hubby's GC was produced the 89th day, got it in few days after. Be patient. You have the visa with stamp to use as temporary GC in the meantime.
