I did travel to Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands which is a United States Territory, travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands does not require a passport for U.S. citizens arriving from Puerto Rico or the U.S. mainland. So entering was easy but leaving, we have to go through CBP, I was traveling with us citizen and she only have to show her driving license and when I did the same the officer said that I can't do that since I am not a us citizen, So I have to show them my passport, advance parole card and receipt notice that my AOS is pending. I know this is not helpful but I am sharing my exp.
