  1. It will not affect entry into US, but without CFO certificate you will have issues exiting Philippines. CFO is fairly involved process, and usually split into two parts, the group part, and then one on one interview part. As long as you are able to adequately explain the situation you should be fine. Good luck!
  2. I-129F submitted in Dec 2023 are being worked on currently. But USCIS works on fairly wide range of cases, and it is not known when they will speed up since prices went up on 1 April 2024 their processing speed might be affected.
  3. Not sure where you are in the world, but if I understand your story correctly your fiancee filed I-129F on your behalf last month? Do you have access to any social services, if you feel situation at home for you becoming unbearable? It also sounds like you are able to travel into US on I presume B-2 or ESTA like program? Assuming your fiancee can support you, you might be able stay with them while you wait for I-129F approval. Good luck, and hopefully your situation improves soon!
  4. For 80% of cases. Majority will likely see approvals for I-129F in 5-6 months unless USCIS slows down. Currently Nov - Dec 2023 are being approved, Jan 2024 is about 3 weeks out at current rates.
  5. NVC ship cases to Embassy every 2 weeks or so with some exceptions. Next shipment should be 9 Apr 2024.
  6. This is a lot harder to figure out as I-130 is not a single purpose petition. You also have people trying to do some back door shenanigans by following up I-130 with I-129F for K-3 (????) If you know a good way to isolate I-130 specifically for CR-1/IR-1 it would be good to look at.
  7. What bring VJ data app is increase in Embassy waiting times. I know several Embassies are stopping their immigrant visa operations, like Amsterdam one for example, so I am not sure how some Embassy becoming slower contribute to overall time. Embassy time increasing according to VJ. USCIS times going down. Currently USCIS approving OCT 2023 I-129F petitions.
  8. VJ data is based to the best of my knowledge on user self reports that tend be rather error prone. Heck, many folks are still confused between TSC and CSC. Also, that timeline also has Embassy time, and I really not sure how accurate it is. I-129F approvals from USCIS data.
  9. EAD are routinely approved within days or weeks from biometrics being completed so there are certainly reasons to do them quicker rather than later.
  10. There is something to be said that tech being used for this sputum test hasn't changed in over 100 years. Seems preposterous.
  11. Contacting them to make sure there is no RFE might be good. Have you reached to your congresspeople or American White House yet?
  12. Might be better question for Tunisia specific group. It is not a requirement to meet more than once for K-1 visa to be approved. But US Embassy in Tunisia might have their own procedures/guidelines
  13. Does USCIS status show Petition approved or "Case was sent to department of state?" I would count 2 weeks from "Case was sent to Department of State" status.
  14. This is interesting. For Hong Kong, USA recognizes following: Form 6 Certificate of making Decree Nisi Absolute (Divorce) IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION Matrimonial Causes No. FCMC Form 7B Certificate of making Decree Nisi Absolute (Divorce) IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE HONG KONG SPECIAL ADMINISTRATIVE REGION Joint Application No. FCJA Certified Copies Available: Applicants who plan to use a divorce decree in overseas proceedings should submit an application for a sealed copy of the decree at the District Court in Hong Kong. Applicants should take that copy of the divorce decree to the High Court Registry for authentication. Is this what you send? Also did you send a proof of your residency in Hong Kong? It seems like they want to see explanation that you were resident in HK for 6 months or more. Good luck!
  15. I think denial is extremely extremely extremely unlikely at I-129F point. Especially since you didn't even have RFE.
  16. It is like a splash of water. You move glass starting point a bit every day, but splash is a large area, and distance between opposite sides of it can be large, and some patches do not get wet for awhile.
  17. They have about 600 more cases in Aug 2023. So 20% to go. Give it time. There will be decent amount of RFEs there as well.
  18. I wouldn't worry about it if you already have NOA1 and were able to resolve your Mail issue.
  19. Do you mean your case status shows "Document was returned to USCIS?" That happens though.
  20. Typically there are no RFEs from NVCs. If your I-129F was approved, USCIS is done with you. Embassy can issue Embassy version of RFE using from 221 though if some documents are missing during interview.
  21. About 6 months at current rates if application is to be filed today. Right not applications filed 8-9 months ago are getting approved.
