  1. Thank you! No he didnt come, the IO didnt ask. I took a whole bunch of additional evidence with me to support marriage etc - he didnt ask for anything, no photos, no taxes. He didnt ask for any details about our marriage at all, he seemed satisfied with what I already sent in.
  2. Well it's a wrap for me! My immigration journey came to an end today, interview at Hartford - under 3 year rule. Super straight forward, the officers were all very nice. I was approved and received a same day oath! I am officially a citizen. Thanks again to all of the community here for everything! Good luck to everyone, it's been a ride. β€οΈπŸ™
  3. No I don't have a pending I-751, we were already married more than 2 years when we were issued the GC so its a full 10 year greencard I have. It's virtually impossible for him to come with me because hes an independent contractor for Paychex and there would be no one to cover his route
  4. Yes they do, thats a good idea I will take a copy of his drivers license with me also.
  5. So as the interview date gets ever closer, I am finding myself in a very slight panic πŸ˜¬πŸ˜… Having read that some people who applied under the 3 year rule are being asked to provide more proof AFTER the interview. We live in my husbands parents house, we have no joint bills, no joint bank accounts and no children together. On my application I submitted - - 3 Years of joint tax transcripts - my car insurance showing him - His car insurance showing me - My kids school records showing him as the emergency contact - An affidavit from my husbands mother saying that we live in their house - An old joint loan document - A letter from our mortgage advisor - we are in the process of trying to buy our first home What I am wondering is, there are about 4 days left until my interview should I upload more documents and photos now at this point, or should I just bring everything else with me to the interview? Are you given the opportunity at the interview to provide more, or do they send you away and write you a letter?
  6. So I didnt have to do the I-751 because I got a 10 year GC without conditions because we`d been married more than 2 years when the GC was given. Yes we have joint tax returns for the past 5 years, bank accounts that do show transfers etc. Thank you!
  7. Anyone here who has had their interview under the 3 year marriage rule? Wondering what questions you were asked and documents you brought with you. For us we have very little in the way of joint documents etc, we dont share any children, we live in his parents house so no leases/mortgage etc. We dont have joint bank account, but we do transfers to each other from our bank accounts. We had a joint loan early on which I have details for, lots of photos, social media posts, affidavits from the parents, school records for my children that he is on as emergency contact, doctors records with him listed for them, life insurance that he is listed on. Just wondering what to expect.
  8. Soooooo....I received a notice just now that an action had been taken, and yay! I have been scheduled for interview! I dont know why but I suddenly felt overwhelmed and burst into tears πŸ˜†πŸ˜ Now to start panicking about my interview.
  9. Yes there's absolutely no accuracy πŸ˜…...mine now says 22 days...at least its consistent πŸ˜†
  10. Yeah, Im sure after the weekend its going to jump back up to the 2 months πŸ˜… but for now I will live in the misguided hope that theres only 23 days left πŸ˜†
  11. This probably doesnt mean anything and is just some weird glitch πŸ˜…, but today I logged in to check if there was any updates and there isnt but instead of it saying 2 months until decision time, it rather specifically says 23 days πŸ˜† πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ ...here's to hoping
  12. I dont think you can hurry it along though, its still within the timeframe...I filed under the 3 year rule, but havent heard a thing since biomentric reuse. I think Im going to give up the relentless status checking πŸ˜…
  13. I filed 90 days early and my 3 year anniversary was 22nd July...heard absolutely nothing πŸ˜…
  14. I hear you! Nervous times a thousand πŸ˜… Good luck!
  15. *Runs to myUscis to check case status* ....still no updates over here πŸ˜¬πŸ˜…
  16. yeah wow, 3 days to get an interview date?? πŸ˜³πŸ˜…
  17. When we first began this process (which feels like a hundred years ago at this point πŸ˜…) right in the very beginning we filed adjustment of status etc, and we sent it by mail. They received the paperwork and we also gave an authorization to charge our card, I dont remember exactly how long went by but it was a little while and then eventually it was returned to us and it said they were unable to take the funds. Which was ridiculous because the funds were fine and so were the card details, we then resubmitted the application with a check instead. Not sure if this might be randomly whats happened here to you.
  18. Well I definitely dont think its any cause for concern. I am almost certain that with the electronic filing its probably something the system is able to automate, which is why we get the updates practically immediately. I would imagine with it being physically sent, an actual person probably oversees it. But again, I am not certain, just a thought .
  19. Yes, it definitely wont do any harm! good luck to you guys too
  20. Seems like they reuse the biometrics the majority of the time, but if they do require a biometrics apt it definitely comes through quite quickly I've noticed. I didnt want to bombard them with overwhelming documents that probably wouldnt have any context, so honestly I sent what we had (which isnt an awful lot because we dont have children together etc) - I sent 3 years of tax returns, a joint loan agreement, a letter from our motgage adviser that is currently arranging a mortgage for us, emergency contact details with my husbands name on from the school for my kids, an affidavit from my mother in law saying that we all stay with her. Our address details have not changed since first applying for the greencard. I figure if they need more info they will send an rfe, and that I will also take folders of photos, extra evidence etc to the interview with me.
