  1. I'm wondering if I have a unique case of fast processing time. Day 0: Wife's I-751 arrived at USCIS Phoenix.n Day 2: Credit card was charged for the form processing fee. Got notification that NOA was mailed out. Day 8: Case status changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS". The I-751 currently has an avg completion time of 28 months according to https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/. Question 1: Is my situation abnormally fast? Question 2: Is it possible to get a green card *without* having to do biometrics + interview? If so, why does this happen and how often does it happen?
  2. Thank you! We might be moving into temporary housing (in Washington state) while we look for long-term housing (in Washington State). Temporary housing can be up to 45 days. Should we file the AR-11 and I-865 using address of temporary housing? Should I also register my car and apply for new car insurance using the address of temporary housing and then later change the address when we get the long-term housing?
  3. My wife came to the US via K1 Visa. We got married, moved to California, filed the I-485 from California, and received the Conditional Green Card. Her Conditional Green Card will expire in March of 2025, which means she should submit an I-751 in December 2024 (few months from now). The complexity is this: we will be moving to Washington state next week. Besides submitting an I-751 from Washington state, what else should we do to make sure there are no complications? I'm guessing at the minimum, she should also log into USCIS and submit a change of address request?
  4. My wife would like to visit her family in Ukraine. What is the best way to travel to Lviv from Poland? Which city should we depart from? Should we use train or bus? Do tickets need to be purchased in advance? Where can we buy tickets? What is the average commute time?
  5. I am a US citizen and my wife currently has a 2-year conditional Green Card (obtained via K1 visa). I'm thinking about taking a job in Canada. Would my wife be able to relocate to Canada with me without voiding the Green Card?
  6. Poland, Mexico, Peru, Taiwan, Japan, or Vietnam.
  7. My wife is about to receive her green card and we have been talking about traveling abroad. I have the following questions related to our situation: Does she need to present her passport (Ukraine) at border control of the travel destination or is the conditional green card sufficient? Her surname on passport and green card are different. Does she need to bring proof of name change (ex. marriage certificate) for travel? Should the flight be booked using her new or old surname?
  8. We want her to keep connection with her country of birth.
  9. My wife came to the US on K1 visa. She already applied for and received a social security card with my last name. She also submitted the i485, i761, and i131 using my last name. These applications are still pending. Is it possible to correct them so that she uses her original last name instead?
