  1. Contracts! when did you apply originally?
  2. Question, Is it recommended to submit unscoloscited evidence at n400 interview ? About 30 pictures. If so, how does that work? I’ve heard people saying that they usually come to you before interview and ask if you have extra evidence. If so, could it delay the case to submit extra photos? Thanks
  3. my wife’s on the same boat, and yeah the wait is long. We are still thinking of what is the best way to do it, but it seems like doing it after it faster but more costly. That’s where we’re headed
  4. It’s not guaranteed but it is very common in our field office. Some office simply don’t do it, ours do it pretty frequently.
  5. I need your advice on my wife's upcoming citizenship interview. She'd like to change her name, but we're trying to decide when to do it. The interview location offers same-day oath ceremonies, so here are her options: 1. Change her name during the interview, but this means she won't qualify for the same-day oath. She'll likely need to wait a couple of weeks for a judge to approve the name change before returning for her oath ceremony. 2. Complete the interview and oath ceremony with her current name, becoming a citizen the same day. She can even apply for her passport immediately. She would change her name afterward through a separate process. Which option do you think is better? The additional cost for changing her name later isn't her main concern. Also, if she changes her name after becoming a citizen, her naturalization certificate will show her former name. Will this cause complications when she needs to present her naturalization documents in the future? Thank you!
  6. Hi, Quick question, my wife is having her combo interview soon. She will not have a same day oath and she will be traveling abroad right after her interview. Let’s assure everything goes well, will she be able to travel the day after the interview and get back in? (she has the 48 months extension) We were wondering if the conditional green card was ever taken away during the interview process? Thanks
  7. UPDATE: FILED: 12/10/24 BIO: 12/12/24 INTERVIEW SCHEDULED: 2/2/25 INTERVIEW: 3/26/24 LA Things are starting to move. I wish the best to all of us. Amen

  9. Hey, i’be been looking to chat with live agent and I can’t see where it is? Can someone help me? I would appreciate if you could add a screenshot since i’ve been looking it up and it doesn’t appear anywhere! Thanks
  10. Hey hey!! Interview is scheduled!! We filed in 12/10/24. However the letter doesn’t appear on our account. I know we will receive a letter, but how can some have access to it on the “document” section? It doesn’t show on ours. Thanks!
  11. As it has been said in this forum probably a thousand times: the “my progress” tap is completely unreliable. It can go from 2 months to 7… back to 3 and then all the way up to 40… and still none of it is accurate or based on anything tangible. That being said, trying to read something out of a feature that is not based on reality is a great way to waste time and get all worked up.
  12. lol, your interview was NOT schedule. It is very clean that the “interview scheduled” is greyed out. I have the exact same on mine and my case is still pending. I think the layout is a bit confused so i can understand why you thought that, but yeah your interview is not scheduled yet but they’re telling you that’s what’s coming next. Once you see a checkmark instead of the (3) that’s when you’ll know your interview is scheduled.
  13. sadly my wife doesn’t have this section on her case
