Typically, a K-1 fiancΓ©(e) visa allows for quicker entry into the United States, whereas a marriage-based visa (also called a spouse visa) accelerates the green card process. The processing time for a K-1 visa application (Form I-129F) is 8.6 and the processing time for a CR-1 spousal green card is 10.8. Good luck boss.

Nashmusah replied to harvardiv's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
You meant how Long Does a Fiance Visa Take if I understood you properly. The K-1 processing time can take approximately 12-18 months to obtain the K-1 visa, then another 6-10 months once in the United States and married to obtain a green card. Good luck π. -

If you are found eligible to receive a visa on the day of the interview you should allow approximately 10-15 working days for your application to be processed. Just be patient because everything nowadays is a process. Good luck π

If USCIS denies your I-130 petition, you will receive Form I-797 (βNotice of Actionβ) in the mail. If you believe your I-130 was unfairly denied, you may be able to appeal to a separate body, the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), within 30 days from when the notice was sent (not from when the notice was received). Good luck π

As long as the qualifying relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary is upheld, the approved I-130 petition remains valid. This validity persists if the petitioner maintains their U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status. So on that case, you are still entitled to file for an appeal for the same i-130. No expiration as long as you two are still together. Good luck π.

N-400 Interview - Pls I Need help!
Nashmusah replied to Blueskye's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
What I understood from your case was you owed IRS in this year 2021 which you have to pay before a conclusion will be finalize in your case according to the officer. However, try to understand if only you own IRS even a dollar, you can't get through with your N-400 Naturalization for Citizenship. Pay the IRS Bills and you will be fine. Good luck π -

If the petitioner has died, the beneficiary must find another US citizen or permanent resident who can meet those requirements. The substitute sponsor must complete and submit an affidavit of support by filing out Form I-864, showing that their income is enough to support their household and the sponsored immigrant.

For your country of residence, a police certificate is considered valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. Police certificates obtained from other countries where you previously resided are valid indefinitely, provided that you have not returned to the country and resided there for six months or more. Good luck π
