    They will 100%. They waived your first interview. You must be interviewed at least once to get the 10y green card. I only heard once of someone bypassing both, but it was due covid.

    USCIS goes by the proofs you provide. If you have everything you stated, they might grill you during the interview (you will be interviewed 100%) but will eventually approve your case.

    Hello everyone! I had my interview last Tuesday. I was not approved on the spot, and I drove myself crazy for 6 hours until I received an "Approved" notification. The next morning I was scheduled for my Oath. Which will be in 2 weeks. I literally cannot believe it. I've been dreaming about this moment for 10 years.

    The issue with this is that the federal government has a completely different way of seeing charges or crimes compared to the state. It might be a discharge charge on the state level but the it might be taken very seriously by USCIS. I've heard about people deemed inadmissible for pitty retail theft that where the individual wasn't even charged for. I guess your wife got finger printed?

    Sorry for your situation. It wasn't a smart move to leave the country for 5 months on a 2 year green card. Plus forgetting to bring the extension letter? Go back to the U.S and figure out where the letter is.

    My interview is on October 31st.... Halloween! 😨 Hopefully it won't an horror day..

    I can't believe it. I applied from NYC on JULY 20TH. Today SEPT 20TH I received my interview notice that is scheduled for OCTOBER 25TH. This was extremely fast, considering everyone told me NYC was on average slower. Nice! Wish me luck 😬
