I did not know when it was opened. A month ago I noticed suddenly it was open. You may be correct if opened at the 1-year mark, thank you.

It was re-opened, but once I clicked, it became incomplete. I emailed the Montreal consulate and am waiting for what I have to do, probable they will ask to upload RCMP clearance or any other documents, and the wait has continued since April 2023!!!

I agreed, but I see it is open, I have asked the Montreal consulate as well, no answer yet. Please see the screenshot! thanks

I see as follows in my DS-260, I know I would have to do RCMP clearance since the old one not valid and no email as to why my DS-260 is open, it has suddenly open in the last few weeks" Your case is currently being reviewed at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your visa interview will take place. Please complete and submit the Immigrant Visa (IV) Application (form DS-260) for each applicant on the case. After submitting the DS-260, upload all supporting documentation (as described on our website) for each applicant, if it hasn’t been done already. Important: If you need to make any of the following changes to your case, please contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate right away: 1. Add or remove applicants 2. Add financial sponsors 3. Change an applicant’s travel status 4. Make fee payments 5. Update contact information such as email addresses

Probably you are within a year, usually Police clearance is valid for one year. I may have to re-do, waiting for the email!! Best of luck, thanks

Have you received an email to do medical, and RCMP police clearance to upload DS260, or mailed to the consulate? thanks

I want to update. I know I have to upload RCMP clearance. As soon as you submit it will be locked. I would like to hear from the consulate what documents are required and upload them along with medical etc.

Best of luck and keep praying for the people in the forum, my status has been updated three times this month since November 2023, not sure what is going on. No email for updated RCMP police clearance, medical, travel etc. But I see DS-260 is open!!

Thanks again, I know I have to do medical, RCMP clearance etc. How do I update without hearing from the consulate? Each time I email, I get the message that "additional security screening is being conducted" as like everyone gets the prepopulated message.

I logged in using case ID and Invoice ID and showes open.

I have not received any instructions from the consulate on what to update yet, see that DS260 is open, waiting to hear from the consulate since April 2023!!

I am unsure what informations to update until I hear any guidance or email from the consulate. I see DS260 is open and emailed the consulate about why it is open, so far nothing from the consulate has yet.

You have handled it smartly with an L1 visa. I have been thinking about a TN visa, my wife got visa same time and got her GC last year already. Now she is in limbo because of my DS5535 and waiting..

Praying for you along with so many people waiting after getting DS5535, be strong. I have been waiting since April 2023, nothing can be done but wait!

My friend, it has been open for a month. I pray for everyone in the group that going through a lot. I have been waiting last 17 months. After seeing your message, now I am staying positive. I was almost giving up. Since receiving DS5535 I have visited the US more than 10 times with no issues at the border, no questions asked at all. Fingers crossed, thank you @Vancan

My Timeline Interview March 2023 iR5 DS5535 was received the same day, and submitted in two days DS260 is open, no email from the consulate yet, last update was September 18, 2024 and waiting!!
