  1. Hi, I'm trying to register my appointment online from the link that travel.state.gov provided for US Embassy in Port au Prince but every time I click on the link, the only message that appear is not found and the rest of the page is completely blank. This is the website link posted on the travel.state.gov website, http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ht/ht-steps.asp,but it doesn't seem to be working, I notice the site was accessible when I simply use www.ustraveldocs.com. Can I use the ladder to register for the visa interview appointment for Haiti? it's giving me the possibility to register. Since the former isn't working are there any other websites available? Do I have to use the link specifically provided? Thank you for your response
  2. Hi, so I filed for my mom to immigrate to the US from Haiti back in 2021, I'm a U.S. citizen, she finally received an interview letter. She doesn't speak english so I'm taking all the steps to ensure she has all the documents required. To get to my question, on the travel.state.gov website it says that "the applicant do not need to bring the Affidavit of Support or any financial documents submitted to NVC to the visa interview", however, on the ustraveldocs.com website for U.S. embassy of Haiti, it states that "updated tax documents for 2021 for the petitioner and the joint sponsor" are required for the immigrant visa interview". For anyone who has recently immigrated any family member to the U.S. from Haiti, did they require your family member to bring the affidavit of support documents or any financial documents to the visa interview?
