    Have you been successful with the second application? I’ve done that and travel was not authorized…

    Does anyone have any experience with applying to u4u program for the second time? Person I sponsored early this year, had to leave the US to attend a funeral of her immediate family member who died in the war. Person did not apply for an advance parole as it would not come on time anyways. Second application was approved by USCIS, but travel was not authorized by CBP - no clear answer given as to why not. CBP officer mentioned person should not have left the US.
