We met in the summer of 2016 while we were both going to the University of South Carolina, Columbia. After her J1 visa was coming to end she went back to Thailand to finish school. I went to visit her in Thailand twice before moving there to live and work so that I could be closer to her and her family. During my 2 year stay we became engaged. Discussing our plans going forward we decided that the K1 visa and going back to the USA was the way to go. I returned to the USA late 2019 and started the I129f. As of August 2022 her visa has been approved and we have set the wedding for 3 Sept. 2022
