    so if my green card mother app;ied for her son who is under 21 right now and unmarried, it would take approx 3 years? the son is in europe, also, what if the son turns 21 by then?

    hello, my mom has green card, she wants to bring my brother who is under 21 and unmarried, how much is f2 visas backlogged right now for under 21 unmarried, is it current or a few years behind?

    hello everyone, Visa Navigator gives option when contacting embassy about case currently in admin processing if it has been under or over 6 months of AP, anyone have any luck if you select 6 Months and inquire to the embassy, what do they say?

    is turkey a high fraud country? also, should i inquire through the navigator or that is of no help?

    so my father is in admin processing while my mom has already receievd her Ir5 visa in january. its been like 3 weeks since my fathers case last updated. Should i inquire or is this normal?

    so do goverment officials have any leverage or say to expeditie that? what would you advise, again, it has been about 3 months since interview, mother has recevied her visa but not yet father, both had interview TOGETHER

    Well how long in AP would it be in before one would take this route? also you think senators office can do anything?

    can senators office assist with why AP is taking long? My mother received her visa already about a month after interview, they emailed requesting her passport. But father is still in AP. they were planning to come here together.

    Hello, I had a question, my father has been in admin processing for some time now like 3 months since his interview, his case would be updated every now and then on Ceac website but in past week, it seems his case has been updated 3 times now, is this a sign they can be getting close to asking for his passport to issue Visa? It still says Refused but that is the new term for Admin Processing. Just wanted to see what community thinks and has seen. Thanks.

    so it still saying refused actually means admin processing, not sure why they havent changed the status yet to AP. Also, is it a good sign i see his last updated date changing to today and what not?

    yes they asked for my original BC which i sent, they havent confirmed receipt of it but they did for my mom and then requested her to mail in passport and hers is now issued. my dad still says refused.

    so on the Turkey embassy courier website, it shows under status of fathers case Check DS-260 Status, i go there and it sends me to the Ceac trac website, i checked and it says refused but underneath it says follow officers instructions etc also mentions admin processing. is there anything we need to do? i emailed them got no response, the case last updated date is being updated here and there though

    hello so my moms status has changed to Issued on CEAC website, how long does it take for the passport to be delivered to the pickup location we selected? will we get an email? where can we check, Turkey is the country

    so i should send in the passport pickup information to them is what you are saying correct?

    ok yeah just wanted to make sure cause they didnt ask for the passport pickup info (although applicant had to register online for where to pick it up) but putting 2 and 2 together, i think it would be wise to as it sounds like they are gearing up to issue her visa.

    Hello all, IR5 interview was completed a few days ago. email was now just recevied by embassy to mail in the passport to continue processing visa application. Should i also send in my passport pickup info i registered for? They did not ask for that but i am just assuming it is good i include that as well just in case?

    last question, it says you can bring a sworn translator who has been certified by a Turkish Notary Public on the day of your interview. so the person who is translating for him must get a notary, can a bank or something get that for him? if someone can clarify how to get notary for translation service

    but why do they us to provide a translator to translate what my father says to the officer, when they have officers there who speak my fathers language

    last question, they want a original document from me, i live in the USA, so i assume i am to physically Mail the original to the embassy, have you seen this before?

    got it thanks, question, should we fill out the Supplemental Questions for Visa Applicants - DS-5535 right away and email that to them, we received this via email, also, the interview doesnt say what to bring it just says bring a translator who knows english, so fact that they havent advised what father should bring to this second interview is throwing me off

    true but the officer at there interview didnt bring any of that up really, and at the end, they needed originals of his and my mothers marriage certificate, officer said no worry just mail that to us with passport so we can issue visa, so why all this confusion about another interview and all?

    well im assuming they have another CO that does? and they can translate to the specific CO. None of this is adding up to what the officer told my parents at the embassy, they had a joint interview since i applied for both of them, and it seems impossible to get ahold of the place to clarify why he got another interview for next week

    we dont know anyone like that, plus the travel to the embassy is like 7 hours so.
