  1. Hello all, i was reading the bulletin and just a bit confused, for a PR, how long would it take for a visa to be available if the child is unmarried and under 21?
  2. whats the chance of them denying and saying they have not completed AP?
  3. hello, my father case has been in AP since his interview in Dec 2022. My mom received her Visa shortly after her interview as they applied family visa and even had there interview together as I am a USA citizen. Father is from Afghanistan. Why is this taking so long is there anything i can do? 2 years is a bit much!
  4. ok so coincidentiallty enough, i logged into the ceac iv for my fathers case number and his IV application/DS form said Re Opened. I dont know if it is like that cause he has to update information since its been two years or to take this as a good sign that AP is almost finished?
  5. but what course of action should I take with father as he is AP since two years
  6. my mother is here with me already but my father visa issuance is still admin processing. It’s been almost two years now
  7. Hello all I applied for my mom and dad they are from a MENa country, my mom had her interview in 2022 and shortly after got her visa anbd has visited multiple times now to me here in the USA since. My dad was requested for a second interview and has then been in AP for 2 years now, no documents or anything were requested, I have reached out to the embassy and it is the normal response of background check and they will let us know. I had Senator office also inquire to no avail. what should we do? If we sue is that a good path to pursue?
  8. sorry didnt know responses were in the bubbles like that. thanks for your help
  9. How long does it take to get the i131 card typcially these days? from start to finish
  10. ' how long does it take from filing i131 and receiving the actual card typically, how long can she stay out of the country at one time with the 131 approved?
  11. reason for this is her husband is overseas awaiting AP for his visa while she recevied it already. so she wants to be with him until he gets his Visa, re-entry permit is costly and time consuming.
  12. question, if my mom leaves and is back before 180 days, say she comes back around 170 days, that is no issue correct? also, how long does she need to remain back in the USA before leaving for another 180 days, is it advised for them to stay here for like a month than go back? Please advise.
  13. question, even a 10 year green card holder needs a travel permit if she will remain outside of the US for more than 6 months correct?
  14. hello i am a USA Citizen, i applied for my mom IR5 visa, she is now here and recevied her green card in mail, it shows 10 year validity and not 2 year, is this normal? Pleae advise.
