  1. Hi! We are in similar situation and in Boston! My husband arrived on K1, and we submitted AOS in June. Just received RFE asking us to submit I-693 with a completed vaccination record section. What was the outcome of your case? And who was the civil surgeon you used (as I would not like to use the same one!)
  2. We requested expedite from USCIS before getting 2nd NOA2 (right after our case status changes to 'Department of State Sent to USCIS"). Actually, once I got second NOA2 things moved very fast. In less than one month, our case was transferred to embassy (faster than others who received a 'first' NOA2 at the same time).
  3. Keep hanging in there! We had to wait 2 months. We never got an answer from USCIS or NVC on what happened, we just received a new approval notice about 2 months after NVC sent back to USCIS. In total this was 4 months after our original NOA2. I do think reaching out to a senator's office helped, if you haven't done that already.
  4. Yes, eventually. My fiance' just arrived in US last week. We ended up reaching out to my senator's office to submit an inquiry with USCIS. We also submitted an expedite request to USCIS based on 'USCIS error'. About a week before USCIS's deadline to get back to my senator's office, we received a new NOA2. It took about 3 months for a new NOA2, and then a few weeks after we received the NVC case number and the process continued as usual. In total this whole issue delayed our case 4-5 months. Hang in there. Keep following up with USCIS and your senator / congress rep offices.
