    Update: contacted USCIS today and they said my expedite for my EAD is still pending and they will contact me within 7 days 🙃🙃 but it's BEEN 7 days since the application. It's ridiculous.

    Irritated beyond belief. I got an email from USCIS today stating my i-485 will not be expedited for employment but that's NOT what I asked for I specifically requested my i-756 be expedited. The email stated "your case is currently under review and you will receive a decision or notice shortly" but we know that could be months.

    Can only hope! I have been seeing people get their greencards as opposed to the EAD instead but who knows how the USCIS is processing these.

    Biometrics yesterday and within 10 mins it was updated to case actively being reviewed and then I got emails and text this morning that they had taken action but that was just for yesterdays update. Hoping for a quick review but if not I will start expedite monday

    Correct he's doing a purchase order where he invoices them.

    Ah yea he's a contractor. He WAS an employee and when we moved his work shifted to contract based.

    Honestly probably. I think we'll just submit an additional letter explaining why he doesn't have w2s. Their not a USA based company why would they! He has all his tax transcripts and earned over the 125% + assets so fingers crossed.

    I'm getting conflicting info for this RFIE. basically we have all my husband's tax transcripts but the RFIE has mentioned w2s or 1099 as well. His employer is NZ based and he's a contractor which means THEY do not submit W2s at all.

    My spouse and I have applied for AOS (for me) we got an RFIE it's asking for his tax transcripts but also w2s. We only recently moved back and did the fiance route so he doesn't HAVE any w2s but has submitted taxes for the past 12 years as he's required to. His current employer is also based overseas and doesn't do w2s. Will a letter outlining this cover why we haven't submitted the w2s?

    anyone else having issues with the USCIS account today?! I went to go submit for my RFIE and its now asking me for an access code again and all my stuff is gone. SO frustrating

    I got my biometrics scheduled for the 26th yesterday but I still need to respond to that rfie and should do that this weekend

    Update: got an RFIE for our affidavit of support. Basically just need to re-send everything we sent the FIRST time but that's fine. Ugh

    Called about my biometrics as i'm still waiting - they said one has been requested but not scheduled..so I have to keep waiting??

    All I want for Christmas at this stage is for my bio to be scheduled 😂 pls Santa. I have been so good!
