Hello, I was wondering If I could ask you a question? You seem to have a great deal of knowledge on this forum. I am the petitioner/sponsor for my spouse. We submitted concurrent filing of form i-130, i-485, and i-765 on 12/12/16 and was received by USCIS on 12/20/2016. I received RFE on 1/20 because I made a mistake and left Sponsor/Petitioner name blank on one section of i-864. I corrected it and mailed revised i-864 back today. Now reading a bit more on the forums I came across a topic regarding who can and can't use form i-864EZ. I meet all requirements under "Who should file form i-864EZ" but used the longer/standard version of i-864.
Am i "required" to fill out i-864EZ since I meet all the requirements or will they accept form i-864? Now I'm concerned they will reject my response to their RFE letter. What happens if they do? Will I be given another chance to correct and re-submit? Hopefully they accept the standard i-864 form and the i-864EZ is just optional if you meet all the requirements. I could find a clear answer any either of the instructions for both forms. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you
