  1. Yes I have come across a few people on different forums that were successful. It's random selection.
  2. They won't approve the I129F. They will deny it and maybe the I130 will be approved. Adjustment of status is only done for us citizen spouses who are applying for the I130 within the US. If your spouse is outside that is called consular processing
  3. Congrats!!! How do you know which service center your case is at?
  4. You can try. It won't negatively impact your case. It works to speed up the case for some people.
  5. Join Jamaica NVC Process on Facebook and post your question there. There is a lot of individuals who have experience with Andrew's delays in that community.
  6. Finger crossed its before or no later than that time.
  7. Best of luck June filers. You will be approved soon!!!!!! My PD is all the way in November but I check on these threads from time to time to see how things are trending.
  8. It's November 6, 2023 Last I checked I was at Nebraska service centre
  9. Hello I came across this post in my researching to see how long I have to wait for approval at I130 2 questions: What new arrangement are you referring to that USCIS did? What are you using to calculator when others will be approved down to the days? Thanks in advance
  10. Last I checked USCIS said that may Case is taking longer than expected. I see where those in April got approvals so it's right around the 11 month mark we should receive our approvals if not earlier.
  11. There is Facebook group called Jamaica NVC Process where you can get a lot of useful information.
  12. Hi folks Doing my monthly immigratiom status check in. No movement to report, but i highly recommend you don't do frequent checks because it will just make you more anxious and sad. Checking once a month has definitely helped me to be in a better emotional and mental state. 4 months down and 8 to go.
  13. It is not accurate. We all understand your situation, some better than others. I agree with focusing on other things. I got my NOA1 in November of last year. From that time to now. I have seen the estimate say 3 months, 4 months 3 weeks, 6 weeks etc. I know it's easier said than done but you and your fiance will have to dig deep to make it through the distance and the infrequent visits because the wait is torture.
  14. There is already May 2023 I 130 Filers thread created. You should search for it to keep updated with the other members with a similar date. All the best.
  15. Okay. For question 5. Put actively being reviewed if USCIS didn't make a decision on the 1st petition you filed. Look up the instructions for the I 130 to understand if the place you should put is your state or the location of the beneficiary you filed the 1st petition for.
  16. Take a picture of the questions you're querying so we can see exactly what it says because how you typed it is not clear.
  17. My wife filed for me on November 6th and I am currently on a trip visiting her in NYC. The Immigration Officer asked me the following: How long are you here for? Are you traveling with food? What kind of other foods do you have? So don't be nervous when traveling while waiting for your approval. Just tell the truth if they ask about it.
  18. My wife and I filed our I 130 on Nov 5 and received our NOA1 Nov 6. The long wait starts. Is there any other Nov 2023 filers? I have been contemplating to file a K3 form but think it's a waste of time.
  19. I spoke to a live agent this week and they confirmed the timeline means nothing and we should be using the processing time on the processing page instead of estimate provided on "my progress" tab.
  20. Chat in to Emma and when she pops up keep typing "live agent" until she connects you. Their hours are unclear but early mornings is my best bet...like 9 am or 9:30.
  21. Chancy is correct. @uzair_tx you said you aren't seeing a request for information from you. you are the petitioner so mostly all the info on theI 130 is asking about you the petioner/sponsor. You have to carefully read everything so you don't make mistakes. If you get confused the instructions are very helpful.
  22. The "progress tab" showed up when I checked today Dec 1. It shows "estimated time for case decision" will be 5 months from now. I know this date goes all over the place but it's nice to see some update.
  23. It's best she bring copies of everything for you and her. Sometimes the officers ask for things that have already been uploaded. Better to have it and not need it than the other way around. Ensure she has the latest W2 and tax transcripts, bio medical and police reports etc
  24. Put DECEASED where it asks for place of residency for whichever parent is dead. It isn't required that she signs because she is in another country and it says so on the instructions for that form.
