Yea, I can't get on my husband's insurance. I'm not sure, but since I'm not a permanent resident, I assume I can't apply...I'm not sure.

He has military VA, I can't get on that. But why don't you think this is a valid reason to expedite?

As far as I know I can't have health insurance if I don't have a green card. Mine will end in a few months.

So, here's the thing. I have a pending I-485 (and I-765 + I-131). I recently found out I have cancer and I was wondering if I can expedite? I know I can always try, but I like to be sure, since I'm already 9 months in. I assume they can't deny my application based on this unforseen illness?
