    If your NOA1 was from Aug 2022, I would say go for CR1 visa.  But Aug 2021?  I recommend just sticking with it.  If you get married and initiate the CR1 process, you would be starting from scratch.  If your spouse-to-be resides in Mexico, that would mean around 2 to 3 years more of waiting, as Mexico has a huge backlog for spouse visa interview slots.  Current waiting time is around a year + a few months AFTER spouse petition approval and NVC review.

    I am posting here to keep an eye on this thread for someone else I helped with the application. (His timeline is accurate). The increase in processing times is incredible. My NoA1-NOA2 was processed in an amazing 14 days back in 2014. I had estimated "July" for an August filing for this application and now it's showing...that they are still processing i129F's from MAY. Sheesh. I sympathize with you all - wow.

    Hi everyone! Our dates so far:
     
    I-129F sent date: 23 Aug 2021
    NOA-1 / I-129F received date: 25 Aug 2021
    I-129F notice date: 27 Aug 2021
     
    Now for the long wait. 🤞

    I hope , we are close. I’m mid August , but I’m sick of waiting. I feel sometimes. This will take forever.

    I know after the initial approval we still have a long road ahead of us, but atleast we will be over this God awful first hump. The uncertainty is killing us but trying to stay positive!
