  1. Only recommend filing WoM after exhausting all other avenues, and when the case is clearly way longer than the posting processing times on USCIS website. My case was pending 39 months. I spoke to my lawyer and we filed the WoM with evidence of trying to contact USCIS through case inquiry via their website and going through congressman. We filed exactly 1 month ago.
  2. Just came here to say the case was finally updated to NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED!!! AFTER 3 YEARSSSSSSSS
  3. With a lawyer. I'm not filing for citizenship.
  4. Wanted to start a thread to see if anyone has any stories about filing a WoM for their ROC? I just filed mine recently, since my case has been stuck for 3 years...
  5. Yes - my date allows me to inquire about my case
  6. Has anyone had any luck with raising an inquiry on the USCIS page when your case is over the processing time stated? USCIS website says current I751 processing time is 31 months. I'm at 35 months, so I sent an inquiry for it being outside the processing time. And they just got back saying, it's within normal processing time - which it clearly is not. 🫠
  7. No - my country does not allow dual citizenship
  8. Just contacted my congressman and seeing if that helps since it's been almost 3 years. Has anyone gone that route and been successful in getting things moving?
  9. Hi all, I applied for I751 with divorce waiver. Since I'm changing my last name back to my maiden name, I applied for the I751 with my maiden name. Are there any issues entering back into the US with my old married last name on my green card, and new last name on extension letter? Thanks in advance!
  10. If you get an interview, I suppose you can let them know during the interview. I also applied with divorce waiver and I submitted the I751 with my maiden name (instead of my previous married name). But if your interview is waived and you get the new green card in hand, you can apply I90 to change your last name to your new name.
  11. Omg I can't even do math properly. It's been 33* months
  12. I don't wish to file N400 as I'm not intending to be a citizen yet. How much does WOM cost? Ballpark?
  13. Wanted to start a thread to see who else is the same boat, and hopefully feel a little better about my case. It has been 20 months for me... 🫣
  14. Sigh no other options? I do not wish to become a citizen yet, and WOM is so expensive.
