  1. Awesome! Thanks for the info! Funny - it seems like the system has been down for the past few interview dates. Maybe they were all on Monday haha. So glad it's on it's way to you!
  2. Bring all originals or certified copies of your civil documents: Marriage Certificate Birth Certificate (I don't THINK you need his but just in case wouldn't hurt to have it) Divorce documents (if applicable) Police Certificate Any documents from previous US Visas you may have had (if applicable) Interview Letter DS260 Passport (and any additional passports you may have if a citizen of other countries) Additional: Spouse's latest tax return (The don't always ask for this from what I hear but good to have) Latest W2s (Maybe the last few to be safe) If you have a co-sponsor, bring the above from them too 2 Passport style photos Additional evidence such as photos to prove ongoing relationship (Again - they don't always ask for this one) Anyone correct me if I'm wrong about any of the above. I don't THINK I'm missing anything but just in case, others feel free to chime in!
  3. Wonderful! Thank you both! @Anna12 Hope you had a great interview experience and questions were pretty basic
  4. I don't know if this is going to be a problem but I went to print out the I-94 (travel history to the US) and realized that my latest trip I took to California is not noted on there. Is that going to cause a problem? I'm not sure how that happened seeing as I went through customs. Would this be because I used my Nexus on not my passport? They are connected so you'd think it would show. Is it even necessary to bring the I-94 with you to the interview?
  5. CONGRATS!! That's so amazing!! Fingers crossed it won't be long for that passport!!
  6. We don't have it JUST yet. My husband has his notice of extension so we will upload that for now. We should have it back by our interview on August 8. I'll upload as soon as we get it!
  7. Thank you! Ugh. I thought I had everything in order and then I realized that we didn't submit the 2022 tax return as we submitted our stuff in March before they were required and he was still collecting the docs. I'm nervous as hell now.
  8. QQ - my husband (petitioner) had to get an extension on his tax return. We were DQ’d April 5. Would we be deemed “mandatory”??
  9. Me just looking way too far deep into how I should answer questions at the interview...BUT! Typically when they ask about spouse's job, I see people saying they were it like "What does your spouse do for a living" are they expecting job title and company or simply the industry? I suppose it wouldn't matter to just say it all but again - me being over analytical about it all lol Thanks!!
  10. Woot woot! I am still baffled at your interview date. It's very confusing! But YAY it;s happening!!
  11. Hey everyone! Has anyone used a U-Box from UHaul to move your stuff? Just wondering on the experience anyone has had and if there is any insurance requirements or what is necessary for them to deliver it from Canada to US. Thanks so much!
  12. If you have a family doctor or can get to a clinic, I would just ask them if they can send you for bloodwork about it or if they can simply give it to you. The last thing you want is to have to get it post your medical and then delay the process and risk not having your results at the consulate for your interview.
  13. I checked the Visadoctor.ca vaccine checklist and I don't see it there, however, I know that I got this shot in high school so you may have already got it when in high school if you were in Ontario like me. Here is the list from USCIS https://www.uscis.gov/tools/designated-civil-surgeons/vaccination-requirements
  14. I'm going to Toronto for mine. I emailed them and they put me in a spot 1 month out. I would reach out to one of them and see what dates they have available. My interview in August 8 and my medical is July 4. I wanted to eliminate the risk of the consulate not receiving my medical on time.
  15. YES! I finally got it registered . This feels so real now!! Already got my medical booked and everything WOOT!
  16. Yep! My CEAC also says Montreal woot woot!
  17. Has anyone who got their letter on Wednesday able to register yet? As of this morning it kept telling me my case was not ready to be registered. I know it stays like that for a bit but not sure when I should expect it to allow me to do it. I made my account already though so there's that
  18. What in the actual! That really makes zero sense that my interview is first! I am so sorry! Your visa will automatically get switched to IR1 I believe.
  19. Got my interview letter at 3:58 AM ET!! August 8!! I'm so excited!! FINALLY! I was DQ'd April 5!
  20. You should be getting one next for sure!! You're March 16 right? I'm praying it spans to me on April 5 but I'm not holding my breath lol
  21. Fingers are crossed I'm next with a DQ date of April 5! I'm not holding my breath as I only expected to hear next month at the earliest but it would be amazing if I heard this month!
  22. Immunity is immunity. There is no expiry date on it as far as I am aware.
  23. Ooo awesome! Ok. fingers are crossed that I hit the next round. Not holding my breath but what a pleasant surprise it would be!
