  1. More than going to a doctor and asking for a tithe test, no. Knowing where the vaccines might have taken place could help to order a new document with the public health system but I don't know what else you could do if you don't remember that. Being from Brazil means she probably has almost if not all required vaccinations as a kid, it would be worth the try to get the records back or a immune test.
  2. There's a good chance you had some of these vaccines as a child, no? Most countries have a somewhat similar calendar for those. If you don't know or don't have proof of them you can order a tither test that will show your immune response, proving which vaccines you have had in the past.
  3. I didn't discourage you but simply explained that if your case is still within the processing time you will have a hard time making a case to a decision. Bold of you to assume people that are giving advice haven't been dealing with the exact same long waits. Maybe read around the forums, some profile posts etc. You will see that for as many people getting approved before you there are just as many people going through very difficult times because of immigration related problems. As I stated before good luck on your case and complaints, I'm unfollowing this thread.
  4. I understand your frustration however processing times are shown to be used as a guideline. "80% of cases are processed within" is the key phrase. Uscis doesn't always follow a first in /first out with cases and people that applied later than you might be approved before you. That's just how it is. You are still within the processing time, right? If your case is unlucky and you get to be on of the 20% of cases that are over the stated processing times there's a better chance of you getting help by complaining to USCIS, your representative or ombudsman. Before you hit 15.5 months, as others have stated here, it's very unlikely that your case will move forward because of your complain although you are free to try. Good luck!
  5. It's probably the USCIS online account time estimate. Unfortunately it's misleading a lot of people into thinking it's accurate. I wish they didn't do this to give people hope when the reality is way worse.
  6. On actual policy: Generally, if USCIS-issued secure identity documents were non-deliverable due to USPS errors, USCIS may reissue the secure identity document without requiring a new application and fee. However, lawful permanent residents and conditional permanent residents must always file Form I-90 to request a replacement PRC.[8] In some cases, USCIS would not require a new fee.[9] Common Non-Delivery Scenarios Involving USPS Errors Scenario Example New Application and Applicable Fee Required?[10] USPS lost, misdirected, or destroyed mail.[11] N/A No https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-11-part-a-chapter-3
  7. There's a recent mention on a reddit thread on this topic of mailed ADIT stamps, seems to be a pattern now!
  8. Don't know for sure this will work but you can try to talk to an agent and ask for it to be resend to you. I had to try with a couple of different ones until I got a service number. I said it was supposed to be delivered Feb 13 but it wasn't and now usps cannot find it, then asked to be resent.
  9. Short update: after trying my luck with different agents online, one of them saw the "Return to sender" on the tracking number and immediately started the remailing process. Got a service number for that, expected delivery in 30 days. I can only hope this will work. Long update: I tried to ask for a remail before but they would ask for me to wait until the card was back at USCIS. Kept pestering USPS people until 3 service requests later they finally said it was lost or damaged in transit so it was never going to go back. It took hours of phone conversations, 4 different physical offices visits and lots of stress to get to this point though. And in the end the latest USCIS agent didn't even asked for proof of anything 🤣. Just true luck of the draw on these things, let me tell you.... I believe there was something wrong with the address but can't know for sure as the forms were fine and I'm never going to see the original mailed one. The agent did confirm my address on file and was correct too so 🤷‍♂️ He also warned me this time it will be signature required and if no one is there for the delivery USPS will leave a note and hold the green card at the post office for 10 days to be picked up. After that, it's send back to USCIS. But IT WON'T BE!!!! I will literally work from my front porch the entire day when it shows up on my informed delivery!!!!
  10. You can't keep failing the naturalization tests forever. You get two chances. Once again reading the USCIS website is fundamental, as one would think you have done it by now.
  11. Wow, I'm sorry this is so frustrating. I'd definitely ask for a remail using that undeliverable/usps case, you don't have much to lose at this point. If the I-90 ever gets to the point of decision (approval/denial) you can worry about it then, at most you'd surrender the extra gc lol
  12. Hey, have you heard anything from USCIS? I'm about to file a remail request through the E-request as soon as I hit 30 days of no delivery. When it's not delivered you can do that, without reapplying with the I-90 form.
  13. Could you be more specific about your timeline? I imagine it takes time to get an interview for a spouse, did you at least visit the US to activate your visa before getting married or filing for your spouse? Where are you now?
  14. Once again I have a new email and no changes, my other process is already closed (I-90) so who knows what's going on with my I-751. Wouldn't be nice if I have good luck like one time and get it approved before the end of this year? One can dream...
  15. I wouldn't trust USCIS to not deny you because they booked it before the 3 year anniversary - this might be a case for a reschedule!
  16. Your timeline states you have received your green card in February 2021. That means you will be a LRP for three years in 2024. It is not the marriage that counts on its own, it's being a LRP for 3 years while married to an USC. If for example in 2024 you were not married to the USC anymore then you would have to wait until you complete 5 years as a LRP. The rules are on the duration of your permanent residency with the different timelines if you are or are not married to an USC. Please do not apply for citizenship before 2024, it is gonna be a waste of time and money. You can verify exactly when you will be eligible yourself with this USCIS tool https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship-resource-center/learn-about-citizenship/naturalization-eligibility
  17. From what I could find online there are cases USCIS receives the returned mail and sends out a notice "your mail/card has been return due to ____ (I don't have a reason for my case yet). It also contains the language that card will be destroyed if you don't update your address/we hear from you in X amount of time. I can't find the screenshots now but it has happened. Now, it my returned card will make it to USCIS and they will acknowledge it, that's another issue.
  18. Already talked to anyone at USPS I could, from mailman, to local post office, local distribution center and general customer support. It's been a week and neither USPS nor USCIS have acknowledge the returned mail. USPS does not update the "return to sender" to anything else after that as far as I could understand it - it won't notify me when it gets back to the sender. So I can only wait until USCIS sends me the notice of returned card and requests info on how to resend or something. A never ending purgatory of waiting.
  19. It's not but it never needed to have it - I just got my ROC receipt not even a month ago, same with all other correspondences. Already talked to USPS at three different branches, it's in the "return to sender" purgatory until the next time it's scanned manually, which might take more than a few days. Thanks TBoneTX, I will contact them to make sure it is not destroyed...
  20. Nope, same address since filing AOS. It did not show up on Informed delivery which I thought it was strange (and already thinking something's wrong) but I kept checking with the tracking provided by USCIS.
  21. In the worst twist of fate, instead of delivered my replacement green card went from "Out for delivery" all day to the next morning "Awaiting for delivery scan" to not long after "Return to sender". Once USCIS gets it back, what happens? Do they try again? I do not know why it wasn't delivered, calling USPS to try to intercept it led to nowhere and USPS also just had the info from the tracking number nothing else to add. I was home for the delivery too, even though it wasn't needed as all USCIS mailings go into the mailbox no signature required. I have to laugh at this point at my absolute terrible luck because otherwise I'd start screaming.
  22. The removal of conditions process (I-751) is filed by the immigrant with evidence of bona fide marriage or a divorce waiver. Your role in this doesn't involve USCIS - just file for divorce and your partner can continue their immigration process in their own. Because you are not the petitioner, you cannot withdraw or affect this process beyond separating/divorcing your partner.
  23. Got a "We took an action on your case" email this morning with no actual changes on the USCIS online account, let's see if that changes in the next 24 hours...
  24. With the automatic extension of 4 years I'd say that it's a much more tolerable process. However it is still another step, another fee and another piece of paper to carry and explain to various people what it means. Without such long extension letter I'd say 100% wait the best you can to enter with a 10 gc because ADIT stamps are sometimes hard to get (took me 4 months and I missed my own honeymoon). With the extension letters it's not so bad since you can travel and work for 6 years with no major hassle. So it's really up to you in the end.
