  1. Oh, that's weird. For me, it was automatically added. Did you put the right A number? I am sure I've seen this discussion either here or on reddit, so look it up to see how to resolve it.
  2. Got both biometrics and receipt notice in my account last week on Tuesday or Wednesday. So far received only a biometrics reuse letter in the mail (yesterday). Still waiting for the receipt notice.
  3. You will need to ask at the DMV, it depends on where you live. I renewed my license in June (the expiration date was in July), they said they deal with that all the time and gave me a new driver's license for 10 years. I live in NC.
  4. Don't stress yourself too much. It's good to be aware of all the possible outcomes but as long as you don't do or say anything stupid (yes, that case from above!), you will be ok. Now, from personal experience (my POE was Dulles in DC), they brought me to the secondary which is normal at that airport (or maybe was, not sure), the officers asked if I had a return ticket which I didn't need to so I said "no, we will be building our life here", they laughed and told me to sit down. 10 minutes later, they told me I was good to go. Just do as they tell you and you'll be ok
  5. You file removal of conditions for yourself unless your husband was your preparer. Did you guys file jointly?
  6. Update: I checked the USCIS website and they got it, it's in my account already! Received an email as well. They assigned a receipt number and sent a notice. Happy that this step is done.
  7. Ok, that sounds great. Makes me worried about our case now =(
  8. That's awesome. Where did you send yours? Mine went to AZ, it got delivered on Thursday but so far I have not heard back, no message or so. I read that Arizona may take some time to hear back from so now I am just waiting.
  9. Ask the person to change it. They already wrote the whole thing and most likely will be ok with deleting/changing 1 sentence. It's for your own good. I checked every affidavit and told people what to change. The worst case scenario the person will say no to you and you will not include the affidavit.
  10. Hi! I am starting a thread for September 2024 filers. We wanted to file in August but realized we had more things to file. Yesterday, we finally sent our package and it should arrive to the USCIS tomorrow. Anyone else who filed or will be filing in September?
  11. No, as I mentioned, he never actively used cards from our joint accounts. He has his own cards. But we do have transactions from the same places on his and mine cards.
  12. Thanks! We will be submitting the documents in a week, so it's a bit too late for that. But I told him to start using it now in case we get RFE. I will attach transactions from his and mine cards from the same places now though, like the vet, grocery stores, etc.
  13. Thank you so much! You really eased my worries. I am writing a letter just to guide them through our relationship in addition to the main cover letter. I've been also looking for a job for quite some time, hopefully, that will not be an issue as well. But I will include the part about the joint accounts. Thanks again!
  14. Thank you! Only I use the cards technically, but my husband pays off the credit card and sends money to the debit card. I just realized that this might be an issue. But we do have joint tax returns, insurances, and of course leases.
  15. Thank you, Crazy cat! Another thing is that although they're joint, only I use them and my husband likes to use his cards. But he is fully aware of what's happening, etc. So now I am thinking I will have to talk to that banker. We do love the bank though, it is just that one person makes the whole experience unpleasant.
  16. Hi! So I thought to reach out to our bank person to ask for the confirmation letter but he is extremely hard to deal with and frankly, has been rude towards my immigration status and even belittling before. He emailed us a confirmation letter in 2021 for AOS without issues. But now he wants me to come in, I am not available for that and I told him it's ok if he can't email it, we can skip this letter since I already have all the statements. Now he says he will email it but still needs to call me. I do not want to deal with him, but phone is better than face-to-face interaction. I do want to include as many documents as possible but is this letter really necessary or bank statements are fine?
  17. Hi! I decided to start a thread for those who will be filing I-751 this August. We will be sending our case in a week. Super stressed yet excited. Time truly flies by.
  18. Hey guys. I am currently in Belgium for family emergency. Initially, I was planning to stay here 3 weeks but now I'd like to stay one week extra because of the circumstances. Will that be a problem? Do I need to fill out any forms or so for re-entering the US? I know there are forms for when you stay abroad 6 months and longer but I want to make sure I didn't miss any info and can stay one extra week without risking anything.
  19. Hello! I am traveling back to Belgium to see my family this weekend. I have my GC and going to stay there for 3 weeks. Are there any documents I need to bring with me to re-enter the States except the GC? I am planning to bring our lease, marriage certificate, etc. My American partner is staying in the US, so I am a bit nervous about flying back by myself. Thanks Edit: and I am obviously bringing my passport and vaccination certificates
