  1. Hey all - received my naturalization certificate! Thank you everyone! It for sure was a marathon! Please DM or message if I could be of any help. Those are awaiting interview, don't lose hope.
  2. Thank you, to update everyone, I received a status update notification this past Saturday that both cases have been approved and in line for Oath Ceremony. Thank you everyone for all the help, at the very last bit of it now.
  3. Agreed. Congratulations again! In our case, the officer verbally said everything is in order and you would be approved but he needed to process the ROC before he could approve the N-400. I hope it all gets done sooner! Interview was last week, apparently it takes a few weeks between interview and next step.
  4. Congratulations! Under what rule did you apply 5 or 3 year? Did you have ROC?
  5. I had my interview scheduled for last week in Houston FO (we applied under 3 year rule). It was extremely busy, wait time for our turn was longer than 4 hours. Officers were very nice and were apologetic of the wait. Interview itself lasted between 20-30 mins. They took our interview in two parts, 1. for Removal of conditions on PRC, and 2. for Naturalization. They asked all the usual questions, asked for all documentary proofs including filed tax returns, utility bills, child's birth certification, pictures etc. Once the part 1 of the interview was concluded, the Officer explicitly mentioned that I am satisfied and we will proceed to approve your case for ROC. Then he informed that the following questions are more relevant to N-400. He asked a few questions related to N-400 form, then asked civil questions (6) all were correct, followed by writing a sentence on the tablet. At the end of the interview he gave the results paper with a tick saying we have passed our civil test and written one. And verbally confirmed that he needs to process our ROC first and then he will approve our N-400 case, he verbally also confirmed that your case is approved but the paper he shared said 'a decision could not be made' which was because of ROC and that we should expect something in mail for Oath scheduling. I have not heard anything yet. I received an email saying 'An action has been taken on your case' but nothing has updated on the USCIS login portal. Status still says interview was scheduled and estimated time is now 4 months. Anyone in the same boat? What is the expected timeline from interview to Oath for Houston FO given that ROC was also under process? I could tell that they are extremely busy.
  6. Congratulations!! We have been eagerly waiting for this news on our end. Which local office is your application?
  7. Thanks, I dled it. shows n-400 last status change 132 days ago, and Removal of Conditions last status change was 461 days. Both cases are actively being reviewed.
  8. That's amazing! congratulations. Mind sharing the name of the app? and is it for android or iOS? thanks in advance!
  9. How do you see the last status change? I don't see it on my uscis login page.
  10. Based off everyone's experience, does 'Your case is taking longer than expected' mean anything for Houston FO? Applied under 3 year rule on March 28. Biometrics were reused. Still waiting for interview. Estimated timeline was changing from 3 months to 2 to weeks and now it says the above. Any insight or help is appreciated.
  11. Anybody awaiting interview for more than 4 months checking their USCIS login portal if so, what does your estimated time say? Mine says 'Your case is taking longer than expected' - not sure how accurate these estimated times are, it also says these times are based on 5 year application while mine is applied under 3 year rule. Not sure how to trend it, many folks have also taken oath while so many are waiting for interviews. Any insights are helpful! thanks
  12. I’m still waiting too. Applied March 29. 3 year rule. Houston FO.
  13. Thank you, this is very helpful! seems like 6-8 months is normal for Houston.
  14. Thanks, I applied under 3 year rule as well on 03/29, USCIS status says actively being reviews, but estimated time changed to 'Your case is taking longer than expected to process' I applied in Houston. Which location did you apply at if you don't mind sharing?
  15. Has anyone applied under 3 year rule and gotten interview?
  16. Many many congratulations! Mine is the same field office. Did you apply as a 5 year rule or 3? My application date is 29 March.
  17. Does your USCIS case status show estimated processing time?
  18. Status of estimate time changed to Your case is taking longer than expected to process. Until yesterday it was 2 days estimated time. anybody else see this happen?
  19. Same, mine is back to normal too.
  20. Same here, can not see my case on USCIS website anymore. Hopefully its a glitch. I checked a few days ago and it was fine.
  21. Thanks for the update. QQ, did you apply as a 5 year green card holder or 3 year CR1?
  22. Congratulations! Did you receive the notice by mail only or you can view it online via your USCIS account?
  23. Alright guys, gave the biometrics and a picture was taken there. Easy 5 mins process. Nobody should have anxiety over it.
