  1. Also based on the denial letter the officer suggested I-290B, it can work if we show that it was USCIS error not updating me in their system and attaching that DOS approval. Like it’s not my fault how their system is slow, and I already have the whole chronology I built of events and my inquiries.
  2. No that’s the thing I never received RFE they are supposed at least do that so I can show my DOS approval. I did have an interview I mind you that the officer interviewing me for I-485 said that she would wait for I-612 to be approved and then only proceed. She noted it in my file in front of me. Oh man whole AOS over 2 years, it takes longer now a way longer. I am also doing motion to reopen because I cannot lose my job, I have to do it before 30 days expire to keep my EAD. I have husband and kids and mortgage to pay for… 😔
  3. Thank you for your response. I was not trying to slip like you said and ignore the system I perfectly understand, but I was out of status and my country has been closed for a very long time because of Covid and opened up literally at the end of 2022, I couldn’t even go anywhere. So I was stuck. I have an attorney and she is suggesting we reopen the case and attach that DOS approval letter. The system is so not fair, some already got their I-612 approvals; while I have to wait for how many months now. I am not going to refile a new I-485.
  4. Hi guys, has anyone experienced this- Got FR from DOS back on May 8, 2024 and still USCIS says I am not in the system and DOS claims they forwarded everything to the USCIS and also sent a copy of I-613 to me. Anyways, it’s been over 2 months about to be 3 nothing. I did apply for I-485 before as I was out of status and needed to have something while this I-612 was still processing… I know I shouldn’t have done it but I had no choice because of my status. They denied my I-485 couple of days ago claiming they never got anything on I-612 even though DOS forwarded everything. I have no idea what to do. I will probably not probably I will have to reopen the case with I-290B because applying for new I-485 is gonna be expensive and it’s a 2 year waiting now. I wonder if I can for now show my DOS Fr, I keep bugging USCIS and even did multiple inquiries and started another one yesterday with a congresswoman. It’s ridiculous how this system screws up everyone. I am trying to prove that the denial was erroneous because I have already DOS’s approval.
  5. Wow yours is so fast! I have been waiting for 3 weeks anything from USCIS (receipt or my approval letter), I even called them and they said that I am not in the system yet. Whoa, #######. I don't know how else to get a hold of them. My case was approved in May-May 8.
  6. Congratulations! And oh man they asked you to prove that there is indeed a war, Gosh, it’s unbelievable 🤦🏽‍♀️ I am sorry that you got stuck in a third world country. Btw I am still waiting for updates from the USCIS, it’s been a week since I received my FR. Waiting and waiting…
  7. Hey did you get your approval notice from uscis? How long did it take if you got it? Thanks!!
  8. Hey did they send the waiver doc to your attorney or both and attorney got the original? So if you were approved in April 17 I think, then how many days took to get that letter in May? Thank you!!
  9. Hey did they send the waiver letter to you or to your attorney? Mine changed twice already, so I am worried it will get lost in their address somewhere. Thanks!! Hey did they send the waiver letter to you or to your attorney? Mine changed twice already, so I am worried it will get lost in their address somewhere. Thanks!!
  10. Guys!!! It’s over, thank Goodness, thank you for this group, for all the support along way, appreciate ya! Got Favorable yesterday, but of course it’s like updated today. So how long now it takes from the USCIS side? Hopefully not months!
  11. Got ya! Mine is form Jan 25, 2023, still waiting 🤦🏽‍♀️
  12. Man yours took longer to get back 3 months almost! When did they receive your docs?
  13. Yeah only 2021 wow, so of course they are still going through cases from 2022 🤦🏽‍♀️ Man they need to speed up! Any news guys? It’s now May!!
  14. Damn they are fast indeed! I am still waiting they received my docs in January 2023 🙈 I know some folks from 2022 are still waiting too, so I hope they take care of those people how insane it is to wait for them even longer than for 2023. I have been waiting now for like 15 months now lol
  15. See and you were panicking! I understand it was a long wait, just believe in yourself and positive vibes and everything will be good! Congratulations!
  16. Hey we all have the same, it says first Sponsor Views and then Request for Sponsor Views, then that first tab will change into Received, and then only the recommendation. Hang on in there, since they sent it this month you will be waiting for another 2-3 months maybe longer I am not sure for results… unfortunately not sure why it’s slower this time maybe because they requested tons of sponsor views…
  17. Now I remember I did have the same thing, but I had to wait for 8 months then they issued RFE. Total was 10ish months for them to forward my case to the DOS. I did add though new documents to strengthen my case even more, after they received it, I think it took them 10-11 days to forward. Btw was your hardship case based on the US citizen or kids too? Not sure if you mentioned that earlier.
  18. Well now you can relax! Hopefully we all can move to finally getting our decisions soon. Good luck to you!!
  19. Yay congratulations!! I am happy for you, so basically you waited for 2ish months for this whole process. Man they definitely don't do “first come first serve”, some from 2022 are still pending.
  20. Me too, I had RFE as well, and it took them 11 days after they received the docs to approve. Overall for me was like 10 months but it was in late 2022. The same added psych evals and even more docs and wrote new statements indicating what we added before and what we are adding more. I did get a very detailed letter from them what they are looking for though... I think they might have gone through majority of docs. Honestly, I think it depends who the officer is, they are all different and you never know who you will have.
  21. Couple cases were approved from June and July 2022 so far… many had sponsor views requested I guess that about it, no more news… it seems that this month has been particularly slow, I wonder if many took spring break vacation and/or Easter break… seems that this week no new cases…
  22. I am sorry that sucks assuming you are 2022 I wonder why haven’t they tried to request sv. I am not sure anymore how things work to be honest. I doubt there is first come first serve, maybe they forget to open a case…
