Our parents go way back and knew each other in college. Last year, my dad sponsored Ania to visit Denver for three months. That was when we met and started spending time together. Ania and my dad weren't getting along, so I invited her to stay at my place. We started growing closer and started falling in love. Three months turned into six, and Ania had to go home. We really started to miss each other and decided that we should be together. I went to Warsaw in July where I met her parents and extended family. We took a detour to Krakow where we picked out a ring. We declared our intentions to her parents. As soon as I got back to Denver, I started the I129 process.
