  1. Just wanted to say good luck and hope everything goes smoothly with your case. Please keep us updated if you can.
  2. Credit card was charged this morning. Received a case number and notice saying a letter was sent.
  3. Ours was delivered Thursday to the PO Box. Now just to wait for CC to be charged.
  4. Sent our packet in today via USPS. How do we know which service center we will end up with?
  5. Yeah, we will see what they do. We can get mail at our house, just working during the day and the mailbox at the house is not monitored until after work. The PO is right across the street from my office and since it stays locked I like everything to be sent there. We will see what happens when time comes. I appreciate all the replies and help. If USCIS says anything about using a PO Box, I will be sure to update here. We don't file the I-751 until mid August.
  6. Thanks. We will try it this way then. I've seen online people say their documents still got sent to their physical address regardless, so we will see where they send mail going forward.
  7. It is a USPS box. I just don't want them to reject the application since box 15b says street number and name for mailing address.
  8. Thanks. Our PO office does have a street address but it's only for packages. That's why I wasn't sure since box 15b on the I-751 says street address that I didn't need to put it as 123 Busy Street PO Box 123 or just simply PO Box 123.
  9. Thanks. I attached a photo of the form. So I would just put P.O. Box where line 15b is? Even though it says street address? Do I need to send an AR-11 form to USCIS? We haven't moved and the PO box was opened just in the last couple of months, so this address is not on file with USCIS.
  10. And how would I list the PO box if typing it out, the form doesn't allow # symbols.
  11. Hello, We recently took out a PO Box for better mail security. We can still receive mail at our home address as well. I would like the mail regarding my husband's USCIS paperwork to be sent to the PO Box. I looked at the form AR-11 and it states no PO Boxes, and only to list a new physical address if you have moved. Since we haven't moved, do I need to fill out the AR-11? Or is just listing the PO box and the physical street address on page 2 of the I-751 OK that way? I didn't want to cause confusion in the system.
  12. Seems straightforward enough. Hopefully all goes well when the time comes.
  13. Yep, I would think would be okay. I just wanted to get an idea of what documentation she would need to prove ties to return. She doesn't speak English so wanted to make the process easier for her when her interview time would come.
  14. She is married and has 2 kids. No intent to marry someone here. Just wants to visit.
  15. She is married with 2 children. Just wants to visit, has no intent to stay here.
  16. I just wasn’t sure what all they look for in an interview for that type of visa. If there’s any specific documents we would need to send with her to show she would be supported during her stay. Return ticket, etc. Never done a tourist visa so not 100% sure of all the fine details.
  17. Thanks everyone! If she’s just coming to visit and not really tourism, is there any other type she would need to apply for or is the tourist visa the best option? Is there anywhere online that we can take a look at to see what supporting documents we would need to send with her? To show the Embassy that she would be staying with us during her visit ? Thanks!
  18. My husband and I would like to bring his sister over to visit and spend time with us. We plan to have a family soon within the next year and she would like to be there for the birth of any children we may have. My husband is a LPR (conditional) and I’m a U.S. citizen. I see she would be eligible for a tourist visa, but who would need to sponsor her? Would it be myself or my husband, or us together? How long are the visas typically good for ? She has a job and her own children in Morocco. So her ties to the country are strong, and she would return.
  19. I went when my husband had his appointment, but I was not allowed past security. It took about 5-10 minutes total for everything.
  20. Once you receive your WAC # in the mail, you will be able to track the status of itonline, make sure you sign up for text and email alerts on your petition. You will want to create a account on the USCIS website as you will use it a lot over your visa journey.
  21. Just an update, received an email in French this morning saying: MADAME/MONSIEUR BONJOUR LE PASSEPORT EST DISPONIBLE, POUR LE RETIRER, VEUILLEZ VOUS PRESENTER AU SERVICE DES PASSEPORTS MUNI DU RECU DE LA DEMANDE ET DE VOTRE ANCIEN PASSEPORT and the money orders were cashed. So hopefully it won’t take long now until it gets delivered here to our house. Like I stated above, I put an overnight express mail envelope in the package, so should be good to go. 🤞🏻
  22. Sounds good, I’ll keep updated here once we see some movement.
