    That’s a lot of folks still in processing for Nov and Dec. almost 36K people and then another 14k people in Jan. Damn, I am not sure how long before I get my notice.

    I am not sure if you are flying using 3-year rule or 5-year rule. If it’s 5 then you shouldn’t need any of the docs. if it’s based on marriage, you should carry those docs to prove in case the officer asks for it.

    If it’s using USCIS api like I suspect it is, then it’s easy to fetch the data.

    Got the paper receipt (had paper filed) today. I went to the account, click on documents and it says Biometrics reused but the case status doesn't reflect it. I am going to assume I won't need to go for biometrics. Looks like few folks in the list below me are seeing some biometric notices being sent. As of January 25, 2025, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

    Thats the scary part. These people basically can put a hold on life for a lot of folks even when there is no reason to.

    Thank you. Has there been a trend of re-using biometrics? The last time I did those was who knows how long ago.

    My attorney sent the application to the lock box. The RD is today, but I assume it won’t be today and will most likely be 1/21? Any idea how long before USCIS send the case number so I can start tracking the application

    If I were you, I wouldn’t file it without an immigration lawyer. Also make sure that the immigration lawyer knows who the criminal lawyer is so they can talk and get the exact info and then file your n-400

    I don’t know what your nationality is but I wouldn’t hold off any trips abroad because of pending apps. As much as I hate getting the visa appointment and the process leading towards it I don’t want to waste valuable time till I apply and become US citizen. Think about how much fun you miss out on because you think it will easier later rather than enjoying it now. Just my 2 cents.
