  1. I asked my friend who had gone through the same process and he did the same as you: Province under Mailing State. Thank you for your help.
  2. It's on Update Profile . I can't update other information without typing something in State. It's under mailing address (at the very bottom).
  3. Hi, thank you for helping me out. Do you remember what you put in the State field?
  4. I'm updating my profile on US Travel Docs and it says to provide my phone numbers prefixed by my country's code. I'm phone-illiterate so I don't know what to put here. Am I suppose to write: +630936 ... then the rest? Is this the right format? The website is also asking for my state and Philippines don't have any. Do I write: N/A?
  5. Update: I e-mailed the Embassy and received a response from them four to five days after my inquiry. TLDR: status can only be reverted back during the interview itself. - Embassy.
  6. Order of events: 1. My I-130 was filed roughly a month before I turned 21. 2. We received an RFE for my I-130 when I was already 21. 3. We sent the requested evidence and the issue was solved. 4. We received the case number for CEAC. 5. CEAC showed IR2 as my VISA type (I was already 22 at this time). 6. Case was expedited. 7. Case was sent to Manila. 8. Noticed that my VISA type changed from IR2 to F11. (I don't know when this happened but it probably occurred during or after the expedition process.) My questions: 1. CSPA freezes the age at the time I-130 is filed ... we filed mine before I turned 21, but we got an RFE (I-130) when I was already 21. ... Does the CSPA rule still apply (despite getting an RFE when I was already 21?) ... Note: I was already 21 when they made my CEAC account, and on that account, it showed IR2. 2. My case status is "Ready." But, I've yet to receive a notification regarding the actual interview date from the Embassy. ... Who do I contact here to resolve this IR2-to-F11 issue? The NVC or the Embassy in Manila? I don't wanna go to the Embassy for a scheduled interview date only to be denied because my date is not current and that I've been reclassed to F11.
  7. When I receive an email concerning the interview - does the Embassy set the interview date themselves in that email? Or, do I have to pick my own date? Thank you! 😅
  8. US Travel Docs has announced this recently (under RESTRICTIONS): "All receipts for payment of NONIMMIGRANT visa application (MRV) fees issued before October 1, 2022, were extended until September 30, 2023, and remain valid until this date." My visa is IR-2 and so we didn't have to pay for MRV. Questions: 1. Does this apply to IR-2s as well? (Visa fees expire after a year, mine is to expire somewhen in May.) ... I know that this recent change probably doesn't apply to my visa, but I'd like to ask everybody just to be sure. 2. "Please note applicants must only schedule their interview ... within the 365-day period. There is no requirement the interview must occur during the 365-day period." ... I found this on the same website linked above, this was copied from under the MRV announcement and so I'm not sure whether this applies to IR visas as well. ... Can I schedule (or reschedule if they its the Embassy that decides the first schedule) an interview within the 1-year limit and set the interview date AFTER / PASS the 1-year limit? Any answer for either of the questions would be of big, big help to me. Thank you. P.S.: I don't know whether this belongs to the NVC forum or Embassy, so I decided to post it here.
  9. That could very well be the reason. We made no request to expedite the case; yet it was expedited.
  10. Where do I see my status on CEAC? The homepage has no case status - it only shows: "YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY AT: MANILA." Do IR-2 applicants have to book the schedule themselves after the "Ready" status? Visa type is IR-2.
  11. Just received this e-mail tonight and it says that: NVC has sent my case to the U.S. Embassy in Manila . . . What's the next step here ... do they immediately give me an interview date in their next e-mail? How long do you think (approximate / in your case) would it take for them to contact for me an interview? Just want a rough idea on the timeline, thanks.
