  1. 3-7 days after they sent the swab back to US. Yes, you'll have to wait for another 221g requesting your passport.
  2. The list has the names of people who need to do DNA testing. The Embassy periodically sends that list to St. Lukes to schedule swabbing. You have to wait for the Embassy to send a list with your name on it to St. Lukes first. You could keep calling them every week to check. As for what I told them, I asked St. Lukes multiple times (would call every week) if they have my kit. On the first couple of calls I had, they told me no. It took 2-3 weeks or so (give or take) before they told me that they have received my kit. You could also try calling the Embassy because sometimes the Embassy would not immediately send your kit to St. Lukes even if they already have it - don't know why tho. But maybe bugging the Embassy (telling them that your kit has arrived in the Philippines) would speed up the process. Try calling both every week. Note: your name might already be on the next list the Embassy is preparing to send to St. Lukes and St. Lukes only has to receive it.
  3. Hi, my category is IR2 and I have already gone to the interview before. At the interview, I received a 221g requesting a DNA test be done to confirm paternity because my birth cert. doesn't have my petitioner's name - we did that and now the Embassy has the result. Now, they've sent me a letter (another 221g) telling me to send my passport through LBC. (Perhaps no more 2nd interview, so I can't bring my passport to the Embassy anymore.) DNA was positive, so I'm guessing they want my passport for stamping.
  4. I know that there're only selected LBC branches that can deliver my passport. My questions are: 1. To where / what address do I write? Is it this address? (Note: Embassy's address on their website is almost exactly the same - except it's 1000 and not 0930. Don't know what those numbers mean.) 2. Do I only have to put my passport, 221g, etc ... in an envelope? (Brown, short). 3. Does anyone know how long it'll take for them to get back to me after receiving my passport? Guestimate is fine.
  5. Update: 1. Took about a month. Had to call St. Lukes myself. They told me to come the day after because Embassy had already received my testing kit. (Note: St. Lukes fee is P1.5K. I was told on the phone to only pay P1.2K but had to pay more.) 2. Two 2x2 with a white background - just like what they asked for the initial medical exam.
  6. Update: I'm going to answer all my questions myself after going through the process. 1. Didn't have to attach any document ... My petitioner made a copy of the 221g and brought it with him to the DNA facility. As for my case, St. Luke asked for the original 221g ... They photocopied it and returned it to me on the same day. I don't recall having to show my 221g to the CO that witnessed my swabbing. 2a/b. They never asked for the submission form.
  7. The entire process - from the day the petitioner gets swabbed to the day the Embassy / St. Luke calls the beneficiary to get his sample taken at the Embassy. ... Also, the instruction on the DNA procedure says to bring a recent photograph of me but there's no detail on the size / number of photographs I need to bring. Is this another 2x2 photograph?
  8. "IMPORTANT: All required documents marked below must be submitted all at one time with a copy of this letter and document submission form." Questions: 1. Where do I attach "a copy of this letter and document submission form"? I understand that one would normally attach a copy of the CO's letter and document submission form with the missing document the Embassy wants to acquire. However, I don't exactly have a missing document. - DNA testing is a procedure and not a document. - DNA result will be in America and not where I am. And so, there's no document I can attach "a copy of this letter and document submission form" on. 2a. Filling up the submission form. "Please list down below the documents you are submitting:" - There's no document to be submitted. Question 2b: - Am I even suppose to fill this up when I have nothing to send? ... DNA test instruction is in the comments. Thanks.
  9. ... From the day you got approved. I'm IR2 and I have an interview set before August ends. US website says visas remain valid for 6 months. 1. Does this 6 month-validity apply to all visa categories? 2. How long was yours valid for? And, what was your category? Thanks.
  10. Order of events: 1. My I-130 was filed roughly a month before I turned 21. 2. We received an RFE for my I-130 when I was already 21. 3. We sent the requested evidence and the issue was solved. 4. We received the case number for CEAC. 5. CEAC showed IR2 as my VISA type (I was already 22 at this time). 6. Case was expedited. 7. Case was sent to Manila. 8. Noticed that my VISA type changed from IR2 to F11. (I don't know when this happened but it probably occurred during or after the expedition process.) My questions: 1. CSPA freezes the age at the time I-130 is filed ... we filed mine before I turned 21, but we got an RFE (I-130) when I was already 21. ... Does the CSPA rule still apply (despite getting an RFE when I was already 21?) ... Note: I was already 21 when they made my CEAC account, and on that account, it showed IR2. 2. My case status is "Ready." But, I've yet to receive a notification regarding the actual interview date from the Embassy. ... Who do I contact here to resolve this IR2-to-F11 issue? The NVC or the Embassy in Manila? I don't wanna go to the Embassy for a scheduled interview date only to be denied because my date is not current and that I've been reclassed to F11.
