  1. Or, is it my petitioner who's suppose to bring a printed copy of the letter the CO gave me to whatever medical (DNA) facility he chooses?
  2. Update: VISA validity is exactly as long as medical in my case.
  3. More tips: Updating CEAC: - You can update your civil docs. on the same day of your interview. I updated my NBI 30 minutes away from the Embassy and the Embassy still received my new NBI NBI: - Unless you haven't had an NBI clearance before or lost your clearance use the Quick Renewal method. Quick Renewal is the one where you don't have to login. The other method is the one where you have to login. (Most guide on YouTube instruct people to do this - don't follow them.) If you use the other method it'll be slower because: - You have to set an appointment. - You have to do biometrics again. Both method renew your NBI but Quick Renewal is as its name, quicker. Plus you can arrive there 24 hours after your payment because you don't have to get an appointment slot unlike the other method.
  4. Update for people facing the same problem in the future who'll probably see this post: If your NBI and CENOMAR is about to expire or is older than six months, just renew them to be safe. If you still have weeks prior interview: renew them online for hassle-free procedures. If you are in a hurry renew them in person. NBI quick renewal readies your renewed NBI for pickup at their office 24 hours after payment. CENOMAR in-person renewal: Sometimes you can get your new CENOMAR on the same day. However, you'll need to be there early. - I arrived at 9 AM and was able to get mine on the same day. - If schedule is full in your selected PSA Office, just pick another one in your region. ... I was suppose to get mine from Manila(?) but their office was full and so I had to select Caloocan. Unlike banks where they force you to make an account in the nearest branch, PSA seems to not care where you renew your papers. (As long as it's in the same region(?))
  5. DNA test instruction.
  6. "IMPORTANT: All required documents marked below must be submitted all at one time with a copy of this letter and document submission form." Questions: 1. Where do I attach "a copy of this letter and document submission form"? I understand that one would normally attach a copy of the CO's letter and document submission form with the missing document the Embassy wants to acquire. However, I don't exactly have a missing document. - DNA testing is a procedure and not a document. - DNA result will be in America and not where I am. And so, there's no document I can attach "a copy of this letter and document submission form" on. 2a. Filling up the submission form. "Please list down below the documents you are submitting:" - There's no document to be submitted. Question 2b: - Am I even suppose to fill this up when I have nothing to send? ... DNA test instruction is in the comments. Thanks.
  7. Did they get to go back to the interview on the same day after uploading it outside?
  8. Has anyone in here received their CENOMAR from the office itself? If so, did you get it on the same day? I have my appointment date for CENOMAR on Aug. 29 @ 9 AM.. Some say you get it on the same day as long as you get there early. 9 AM is about as early as I can make it.
  9. Hi, and thank you. Would it be okay to upload it a day prior the interview? Aug. 29: Upload. Aug. 30: Interview. Or, would the Embassy not have enough time because it'll be uploaded only a day prior the interview?
  10. Update: Planning to renew both to be safe and have them both be under six months old. Question - Do I have to upload the new ones on CEAC? Or, can I just bring em to the interview?
  11. Interview checklist says: NBI and CENOMAR must be valid for 1 year from the day they were obtained. 1. My NBI: - Obtained on Sept. 14, 2022. - Expires on Sept. 10, 2023. I don't know if I'm splitting hair here but the exact validity of my NBI is: 11 months and 28 days. So, not a year. Would this be a problem? 2. CENOMAR: - There are two dates, one above and one below. Which date is my CENOMAR considered obtained by the Embassy? ... I think it's Sept. 27 but I want to be sure. 3. Going back to the original question --- 1 year from the date they were obtained: ... This is a silly question but I gotta be sure --- the 1-year validity rule applies only from when they were obtained and NOT from the day of the interview and onwards, right? ------- My Interview is on Aug. 30, 2023. Are my papers still valid for my interview? Many thanks.
  12. Did not get a green paper but I know the exact date my medical will expire on: Feb. 14, 2024 (was issued on Aug. 14, 2023). If I understand you right, this would mean that my visa would expire on Feb. 14 of next year regardless of when my visa is issued to me? Will it expire EXACTLY on the 14th of February? Or right around that time? I gotta know the specifics because I want to stay in the PH a little longer.
  13. ... From the day you got approved. I'm IR2 and I have an interview set before August ends. US website says visas remain valid for 6 months. 1. Does this 6 month-validity apply to all visa categories? 2. How long was yours valid for? And, what was your category? Thanks.
  14. Hi, thank you but I don't really know because I'm not gonna stay at a hotel. However, I think there's a hotel right behind SLEC. SLEC's on Bocobo St. So, I think Hotel Bocobo's right behind SLEC, making it the closest.
  15. Update: I managed to get the confirmation page of 260 without the 260 without the "Thank You" part above the bar codes and immigrant details. What I did: 1. CEAC. 2. IV APP. 3. Review: - Under review there's a next button, "Next: Family >" - Get to the last page and you'll see your confirmation page. The website also allows you to email the PDF to yourself. Note: roamed around this forum, seen some people say to click Sign after IV APP --- don't do that, it'll only log you out. **** Note: Chancy said to print the one that was sent with the email that wrote "CONFIRMATION PAGE IS ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL ..." I received two mails. Second mail has only been received after I did the 1-2-3 steps above. Both mails have "CONFIRMATION PAGE IS ATTACHED ..." But only the second email doesn't have the Thank You --- Don't print this page part. Seems like CEAC made this process unnecessarily confusing. Anyway, if anyone wants a clea copy of the confirmation page with the bar codes without the Thank You part, do the steps I wrote.
  16. Thank you so much for bearing with me. ... and I hate to ask so many questions but, 1. When it comes to printing, do I need to follow a special format or size for these papers? Or, does it not matter as long as they all fit nicely on the papers. 2. You can see the "Gmail" at the top left corner of this print - that and more details about Gmail because I had to forward this file by email to get it printed. ... Does that part matter? Or, do I have to clean this up by getting rid of the Gmail logo and email forwarding details? .... Again, thank you so much for your patience and help. I remember you helping me out in the past as well so I'm very grateful and appreciative that you've given me a hand this time around again.
  17. Hi, what happened to my case was quite the opposite. I was able to procure an interview appointment date before I even started looking for a date for my medical appointment. Both have their dates now. Medical s on 14 and interview is on the 30th of August - so two weeks apart. My original category was IR2 but IR2 cases are changed to F1 (temporarily until they change it back to what it was) when cases are sent to Manila from the NVC. ...... And, IR2 people might read this in the future so I'll add this here and now to help others just in case: Cases that went from IR2 to F1 (even when protected by the CSPA or the benefit of being an intermediate relative) will be turned back to IR2 DURING the interview. Many people I talked to reported this process.
  18. Cant edit previous comment so making another one to add more info. Item 2 and 3 are separated, interview letter AND letter with case no.
  19. Kinda confused. Please stick with me here because I really need your help. Interview letter: - Name, time and case no. in the SAME email. ... The letter I received only has TWO of those: name and time. My case no. wasn't included. (Mine's from Manila; I scheduled it myself.) - You say "in the same email." ... so I don't know if I need all three. - Many formats. ... but does all format (from different sources) need to contain those 3 information? **** I realized that you might have misconstrued my question about the appointment and letter with a case no. I meant to ask two of those separately because SLEC wants: 1. Appointment interview letter. 2. Letter with a case no. They're separated in the list of requirements.
  20. Which one of these is the appointment letter? First (from TravelDocs) or second (from Manila). I'm almost certain its the first picture because it screams "APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION" but I wanna be sure. ... Also, it says SLEC wants a "Letter with a case no.," what does that mean? I got so many emails with my case number.
  21. Question regarding VaxCert - is there an original version of this I need to get somewhere? I only have photocopies from the website.
  22. Need to print out the confirmation page of DS260. Can't find it on CEAC. Have an email with the bar code and all, but it says not to print the page under Thank You. Where to acquire? Medical is three days out, don't have time for this (removed).
  23. I also received a letter instructing me to schedule my own interview. I'm not sure if there are TWO KINDs of interview letters. 1. The one that already has a date for you to attend ... is similar to the letter you received? Did the NVC set a date for you in that letter? 2. One that tells you to schedule the date yourself ... this was what I got. Did your interview letter already set up an appointment date for you?
  24. Hello, again. I wanna ask another question. I've been asking around about the same question on Facebook and I got two responses. 1. Upload it before the interview. 2. Wait for them to notify you first before uploading a document. Number 2: "not true they advise you to upload the new tax documents when you get interview letters in my case they sent messages on CEAC to upload new tax documents for interview or expired police report. You wait until you receive interview letter to upload new documents since the wait time can be more than a year and each year you file taxes in April etc ." I know that you're bringing yours instead of uploading it. But, did they notify you about updating it at all on CEAC?
  25. Hey, sorry to bother you again, but do you know how long financial evidence are valid for? I remember looking the validity up a while ago but can't exactly recall where I found it.
