This may sound stupid, but on the US Embassy Bogota website, in big red letters, it says bring original or certified copies of all documents uploaded in CEAC...Please use the list below to determine the items that every applicant must bring to the immigrant visa interview. Any documents that are not in either English or Spanish must be accompanied by a certified English translation...however if you continue to read...it says...Your original birth certificate, English translation, and a photocopy.
It says English translation a few more times but I only pasted one example for clarification. Now the Question...Based on what is written in RED, I don't need to translate any documents because all of my documents are either in English or Spanish...is this true...and am I to assume the "original birth certificate", if it wasn't in English or Spanish, would need to be translated...are my assumptions correct?
